Guys! When you come down on Friday and Saturday, on your snowmobile, stop and park your sled before you cross the bridge. I know myself, from past experiences, I've ran out of gas at 10:30 at night, and had no extra fuel at my truck. So I left my sled 1km before the bridge.

Yeah you do that - I'll show up with a semi and take a load of free sleds home.

Seeing as the Saturday will be sold out I've talked to the town council. The Big Iron finals will be held on Sunday. We will be at Turbo Mountain at "high" noon rock, paper, scissors. So seeing as how the club and the society are going to do such a great job at parking everyone, just leave your trucks in the parking lot because we'll be sledding again on Sunday. And for those that dont make it up on Saturday, they have an opportunity to see the world class rock, paper, scissors showdown at Turbo. There will be 3 from the USC, and there will be 3 from the Big Dawg, and 5 exemptions plus 1 robin hood and his married men. "Lapp" your butt off! More details to come. So when you buy your pass on Saturday, see if you can get your pass for Sunday too. And don't even think about checking out of your hotel room on Sunday morning. I will be throwing out free swag at Turbo Mountain - goggles, hoodies, hats.

Just so there is no confusion on this .The BigDawg Shootout INC has nothing to do with the BIS/USC. We are not part of any co event in anyway. No doubt past competitors and winners of the BDSO will be in attendance and participating. They are not there representing the BDSO in anyway officially.

Just got to make this clear.

What we are doing though is going to help out by lending out out snow fence to help block off the cut blocks on Saturday. We are also going to help out finacially to make sure there are qualified saftey persons on the hill in case of an emergency. We are also going to assist Friday night with the rider registration.

We`ll be down there and hope to see you on the hill. Lets have a great weekend and hope everything goes ok.
