The NYTRO sleds are starting to get them on now. COOL!

Gen II look great as well! Down to finishing a couple of rev redo's and I can go testing er ah working instead of prototyping!

to see Gen II

check out the "Snow Eliminator" test report in General and see one of our customers installs on Gen II. They look great!

Getting reports back daily on these boards and the riders are loving them~!

Rob, I've inquired before about a set of your boards for the Pro-X chassis but can't remember if you have them or not. I'm sick of kicking snow out from under my feet and am in desperate need of traction. Let me know either by PM or here on this thread. Thanks.

SK.

I would also be interested in a set for the Pro-X chassis. I just got back from the Bighorns and I need something to get rid of the snow buildup.

I'm also interested in a set for the Pro X, I'd like to see one that uses a fishbone brace similiar to the nytro to retain tunnel strength.

How many confirmed orders for the Pro X would we need to get a run made?

I know for a fact I can get some Pro-X owners from Hardcore Sledder and Snowmoble Fanatics to get in on the group buy.

Guys call in and put in and place a confirmed order for your racer and prox and we will build them per your order. Here is the deal. We have decided to make those limited production models as an order only. We don't get enough interest to make a manufacturing run and stock them but I have got enough interest to divide the front end production costs and make them feasable for these two models (polaris racer chassis and edge pro x) plus the 07 PHAZER.

Cost will be between $140 and $150 for plain add $50 for powder coated plus shipping. ($25 and up for Canada..average $18 for US postal priority)

DEAD LINE for the special order MONDAY JAN 7th

It looks like the ship out date will be JAN 17th

Rob, I've started a thread over on HCS in the Pro-X section about this deal and I think we'll have a lot of people that will want these for their Pro-X's. I'll post up in the Polaris 440/race/modified section too. I'm sure there are some guys running racers that would love them for their chassis'. See ya'!

Thanks for the order Michael I will make them very similar to the factory wishbone so that it covers those mars and gives you equal if not better strength to go with the added traction.

Glad to hear that the Better Boards fishbone support will be similar to the stock one. I seem to remember hearing somewhere once that the powder coated boards keep snow off better than the natural aluminum boards, is that true?

Rob,

I will be calling you in the morning to order up a set for my Pro-X. I must say I appreciate you building these for us, as we are a limited group, but sure will be nice to have some traction...

Ah good, I feel a lot better about my order now. I'm not gonna lie, I spent 3 weeks corresponding with the competition via email to find a "similiar" set to what I needed, only to have them forget about my order AFTER getting my credit card info. Your willingness to make this order for Pro Xs won my business :)

Ok gang I said today was the order deadline but I still have 163 emails and 35 phone messages to get to and it's getting pretty late! I got tied up in Oregon doing research and development in the Eagle Caps. Snow kept me there until this afternoon so we are a bit behind and the deadline for ordering is now WED night. If you called and or emailed your in. I won't let anyone down so you can probably even get some (prox racer chassis or phazer) special builds clear until Fri.

On the pro x and the racer with the factory wishbone. We made a management decision mostly to benefit you guys on your install. We are going to make the boards flat stock like the RAW IQ's. You will leave your factory wishbone in place for strength and to lesson the work on the install. Those blind expanding rivets are maddening and they have a ton of them. The new boards will fit over the wishbone on the footrail only and match up the V pattern so it will look clean. The openings will be in the V'd areas of your existing wishbones (meaning you will cut out the bottom board for snow clearing) and traction cleats will run along those V'd edges. You also cut out a larger hole in front of the wishbone and it will rest on the factory down angle metal in the foot well. This should give you great traction, make it easier in getting the snow off or out, maintain the current strength with the rolled factory wishbone and be easy to install. Overall the best combination of function and form.

On the new phazer design we are going to put a standard L raise up the tunnel 2". You will keep the factory L support that is under the tunnel and cut through that and the existing running board for your hole. You will remove the screws in the front outer footwell and reuse them through the new boards. Just like the NYTRO you will reuse the rear and outer factory rivet holes. Should be straight forward install and relatively easy. Looks to be strong and will have the same function as the other Better Board Products.

Thanks for all of the orders! We should get you guys all covered very shortly.

Rob

I don't know about everyone else but I don't like this idea. I'd much rather have a one piece brace/better board, I don't think slapping a better board on top of my factory brace will fit/look good. I also don't see how this would be any stronger/better than just cutting out the holes around my existing brace myself and save my $150(plus shipping). I would much rather spend an hour or two drilling rivets and doing a thorough install than half *** it and end up with a finished product that doesn't live up to expectations.

If you decide to continue with this route for the production run please cancel my order, this is not the product I thought I was purchasing and I won't be happy with it.

As another purchaser, I agree. Well said.
