LOL! thanks guys! I don't want to set foot on it, it looks to nice :D it kinda started out as a bet, somebody told me I couldn't do it without sanding it first, I proved them wrong! and thanks for noticing the rails!! I really don't want to take them apart, but if I get a new powerclaw I might as well do them while I am changing the track...

it might look good now, but I bet it will be all scratched up by mid season

I used the BDX Bumper kit. I cut down the plastic on the stock bumper, so I could still utilize the stock tail light.

I was wondering the same thing is that an 09 cooler and can I use the endcap with the stock cooler?any info would be great thanks

I see.. well I'm going to try and flatten my 08 cooler out.. just not sure how to attach it back to the tunnel..

suggestions from people who have done so??..

Exposure

We have concerns of the exposed coolant hoses.
When we did our mod's we used the 07 hose covers...

Ice/ Rocks ect ect.. can be flipped up by the track and then the troubles begin....

Just an FYI for those thinking to do the conversion

the holes punched in my boards are from the BDX punch, IMO it works better than the inserts that I had on my last sled, snow eliminators..

the holes are turned down and do a better job of letting the snow fall through

Doo,

Did you ever have a problem with the hoses getting cut or punctured? I was worried at first, but the 09's have the 90 degree coolant hose exposed.

That was another issue to remove weight / cost ( I suppose)
Sometimes having protection is nice in the area that receives the most abuse.

Ever wonder how hard a paddle hits when you fling one off your track running back to the parking lot..
I am sure a hose or connector doesn't stand much of a fight

BTW - Ford saved 1.3MM by not painting ash tray's in vehicles. / How much you think cat saved by shorting the tunnel by 3" and removing the hose covers...

[/IMG]Here Is how we installed the BDX kit. We made a rear suport piece to replace the tunnel brackets supplied by BDX. Next I used the Cooler Van Amburg makes for the M Series. I was going to flaten my 07 cooler but broke the welds durring the flattening process. Useing this method we were able to use the stock snowflap as well as the cooler hose covers. I think it looks much nicer than using the stock plastic bumper pieces. Then I topped it of with small LED Light. What do you guys think?

I use a VE tunnel extension, VE running board edges, 09 Cat bumper, Four Barr led, King Cat snow flap, flattened 06 heat exchanger and a Mountain Addiction gas rack.
