If you want real true horsepower go with the twisted. 800 miles with not one issue running 15 lbs boost all day is nothing to complain about! if you go with HM plan on having a blown engine not to mention the WORST customer service ever. any questions?
 
If I finally decide to do a turbo on my assault this fall it'll be with Boondocker for sure. 8 lbs and smiles all day in the trees!

Do you have personal experience with poor customer service from HM? If so, What was it? Blown engines, whats that all about?
 
Yes i do haver personal experience with his ****ty work and know plenty of others who do to! he doesnt stand behind anything he does. i took my sled there to get it rebuilt cause a little dirt and grit got in the engine and it lost a little compression. 3 rides later and 2 rods blown threw the bottom of the case here i am. the PTO side piston was basically welded onto the side of the cylinder. turns out he never changed barrings that i asked for, never cleaned out air box? WTF. never cleanded carbs, never even got the grit or anything out of the case itself. he said it was MY fault because i put the wrong GAS in the sled. im not retarded i know WTF happened. shane hart never stands behind anything he does never the less he didnt even offer to fix is own **** up. douchbag. t
 
Interesting, this is the first time I've heard of a bad experience with HM.
He's gone above and beyond for me every time I've delt with him.
 
Yeah, I've never heard anything like that about Shane.
I'm sure there are always 2 side to every story. Sometimes 3 sides to every story.
 
The story is much much worse.

I had it sold, the customer had a question I told them to contact Silber and not only did he sell for less then I was asking (which was less then the snowcheck price) but he also delivered it for free.

Then I had his recommended installer do the first install $1000 later the sled runs like crap, vibrates itself into pieces. Drive out...Tow in

Then I ask said installer to fix, changed Dobek, checked his original work. Sled is returned without the oil return attached....Drive out.... Tow in

Finally connect oil return, fill with oil check installation. Ride out. Horrendous bog between 4800-6500 RPM's on the new Dobek, sled vibrates horrendously stalls intermittently. Drive out...Limp in

Three rides 40 miles...2 tow-ins

Thanks Silber and to the installer that no longer returns phone calls or stands behind his work, at a bare minimum please return the parts you took off the sled.

Seriously guy... As far as having two sides to a story, u don't have a side.. I doubt that one person that read ur post believes that b.s.. Go back to your boat and drop a couple more colors maybe u will get a bite.
 
How is the noice level on the stage 1 kits? Ride 50/50 trails and freeriding, and dont want to much noice when on trail.
