Klim is a VERY narrow helmet. 509s do work with the Klim and I know alot of guys who run the combo and like it, but in all honesty it's a tight squeeze.
509s are 100% quickstrap compatible. The strap can be removed from the hinge and quick straps can be inserted through the hinge. Option number 2 is to cut the strap and weave the open end into your existing quick strap

the smith snow warp goggles with the yellow tint suit me well. i like the tint for over cast days so you can catch drift lines on the hill better.
I just ordered my 509's tonight, they are sick looking and seem to have good technology also. I can't wait to get them I'll let you know how they work.
I wax the lens of the goggle prior to use with parafin wax without petroleum.
If you have a problem with fogging try baby oil or vaseline/chapstick.
Baby oil won't hurt if it gets in your eyes. Women use baby oil to remove mascara on their eyelids.
Get a zip lock bag , thow in a couple cotton balls or lint free glass cloth. Put in some baby oil , several drops not much.
Then very thinly coat on the goggles where they fog.
At the end of the day take the oil saturated cotton balls and use them to start a fire.

I've found that Spys and Oakley O frames fit the Arai VX-Pro the best, so that's what I use.

I have Smith's and 509's, both good!!! But when going down the trail to our destination last year, my nose and cheeks froze with the 509's? Had to switch back to the Smith's.
Go onto ebay and search for Blizzards, you can get a smokin deal on them.

One thing i really loved about the 509s is the peripheral vision. It is WAY bettr than smith or scotts. Big plus in my books. sj
There are a lot of good snow goggle companies out there. 509 Spy Oakley Dragon Utopia Scott. And many ski goggles work great too. My favorites are Spy (I haven't tried the 509's) The Targa, Omega, and zed are more specific to winter motorsports. Soldier and Bias are more of a ski/snowboard goggle.
For those that were asking about fitment with the Klim helmet. I've had really good luck with both the Targa and Omega Spy's. The Omegas give the best coverage. I heard some people were having problems with Oakley. Not so much fitment, but facial coverage and not working well with the breath guard.
