Best Goggles

I love my Spy Goggles! As someone else mentioned, they are expensive but you get what you pay for. They very seldomly steam up unless I accidentally drop them in the snow when they are off my helmet.

I may try the 509's next time around just because they are snowmobilers that make goggles for snowmobiling.

I had the scott's for a while and they did their job, then my mom got the 509s and i stole them from her for the entire day. i loved those goggles so i bought my self a pair, don't fog up, fit good and look wicked :D i'm just bummed they have white now :[ wish they had the white frames when i bought mine.

ive used the older style of the scott turbo flows for probably four or five years now with no problems and they very rarely fog up, however i had some buddies that bought the newer version of the turbo flows and they seamed to fog up a bit more which kept me from upgrading from the old style. it is getting about time to replace my old set though.

Had scotts for a few years and fogged up a lot but im always sweating in the cold weather too. I bought some spys last year and like them a lot but still have trouble with fogging now and then...i dont know how to stop it!!

I've had Castle, Spy and 509. The 509's have been the best.

03rmk, when are you guys going to have a picture of the black bandanna goggles?

Probably not for atleast 1 more week.

How do your goggles fit in the F4 Klim helmet?

Thunder

Klim is a VERY narrow helmet. 509s do work with the Klim and I know alot of guys who run the combo and like it, but in all honesty it's a tight squeeze.

I've been looking at the 509s. Anyone know if they're compatable with the Quick Strap?

509s are 100% quickstrap compatible. The strap can be removed from the hinge and quick straps can be inserted through the hinge. Option number 2 is to cut the strap and weave the open end into your existing quick strap hardware.

Is this new for the '09s?

LOVE the 509's!! Mag and I have used them with the quick straps for the past year or so with NO problems.

Exactly. Hinges have a strap slot, not permanently attached. So they can be removed and replaced with a QS.

I like my Oakleys best. Have a pair that are 6 years old and work great. Plus 2 newer pairs.

Tried SPY and they fog more then the Oakleys.

Tried Scott and hated them. Gave them away.

I like that answer ^^^^ but seriously I run Scott 89 XI with the light sensitive lens and love them. I'm thinking about trying out a pair of 509s down the line here when these wear out.

I have a couple pair of last years 509 goggles, loved them! except on really cold days, there was gaps in the helmet. I was gonna buy a couple of the new styles this year but he did not have any specials at the snowshows like the year before.

I just bought a pair of ZEAL's, I hear they are supposed to be great. They have the polorized lense and the ZB-13 color. I will find out this year if they are as good as everyone says.

I work at a ski shop here in bozeman and have access to a variety of different types of goggles. The zeal's are, by far, the best goggle I have ever seen. Not only are they polarized, but they are photochromatic, which means the tint of the goggle adjusts to the ambient light. This makes for an extremely versatile goggle because the goggle literally adapts to low light and extremely bright conditions. Zeal is pioneering the photochromatic lense technology in goggles....native also makes a photochromatic goggle lense, but they seem to fog. The zeals have great ventilation and look bad a$$, but they are pricy. We sell them for a great price, and are willing to beat most competion prices. PM me if you are interested or want more info.
