backpack????

cant find a better product than ogio. super durable, well thought out design. lifetime warranty.
the three6 is a killer pack. had one for 4 years, still looks new.
last year i got the flak jacket (that wasatch rider mentioned a few posts up.) it flat out rocks. weight is more evenly disbursed around you, instead of all hanging off your back. plus, the stuff you need more often you put in the front pockets! no need to take your pack off to get to it.
both have hydration sleeves.

check em out at www.ogio.com

I have the Dakine Poacher. It is a 30L pack, I found the heli pro line a tad small. After the shovel and probe, it was hard to pack much else.
Looked for an OGIO three-six, but it was not available around here to actually look at.

With packs like the Ogio Three 6 that don't have a shovel handle or probe carrier, what do you do with them? If they just go inside and float around with everything else I can't imagine it being convenient to get things in and out. Is the shovel blade stored on the outside?

HMK backcountry pack, shovel (with saw), and probe kits are on sale for $150. Saves you $50 and it's a killer kit. pm me for details

all kinds of combos of colors...great pack..great sled friendly company.

I am hesitant to buy products from the ski industry because some times the profits are put back into keeping us from riding. 100% assure you that ZERO HMK money is ever put towards anti-sledding or anti motorized land use causes. Can you say that about some of the other brands listed?

DAMNIT! Now I read this thread! If I would have read this last week Friday, I would have ordered up to sets. But, now I vave a BCA Stash, BCA shovel, and BCA probe. Hard to believe that my local Cat/Yammy/Ski-Doo dealer has all this in stock, in Wisconsin!

I just bought the new ogio patrol pack and tried it out this last weekend. I was pretty impressed, it had way more room than my klim knack pack!

on mine, i used to tuck the handle and probe in behind the shovel blade, then cinch up the compression straps. never lost em in 4 years. this year the three6 is replaced by the PATROL. it has handle and probe pockets, as well as a bunch of other sweet features. you just cant beat ogio stuff.
now they need to build an ABS-type avy system into their flak jacket.

I have the Three6, it's a year old, it has sepperate probe and shovel handle storage. It's an awesome pack I load ton's of crap into it and don't even notice I'm wearing it unless it's an unusually warm day becaust the back pad is neoprene and tends to get warm.

That flack jak looks sick, That will definately be my next pack, er jak...
