backpack????

Thinking about getting a new pack looking at the bca, dakine, arctic cats etc..... any input on other brands or the ones ive listed w/hydro maybe priced from $100 to $130?

i rock an ogio snobobiling pack, 50 bucks and plenty of space, and even a soft extra pouch for goggles.

I use it for school and snowboarding as well, 1 year down of use ALL seasons, even dirtbiking and it looks brandnew.

I've got the Dakine Guide, huge pack tons of room for everything. Just one big tip make sure you get a BIG pack so you don't run out of room.

I also use an ogio. forget the model name but its reasonably sized and has a shovel pouch, and sep. goggle pouch. I can fit all my gear plus lunch in it for a whole days ride.

Is it a waste of money for a hydro pack is it just as easy to use bottle water?

I get pretty thirsty on the mountain... usually drink about 2litres of water a day out there. Camelbak's nice because you don't have to take off your pack/helmet to drink. I pack a few water bottles too, one or two with me, one or two on my sled, and a gatorade or two in my pack.

Dehydration + cold = bad.

Pack

Looked at the Klim nac pac might put it on x-mas list. Not a very big pac is expandable comes with hydration bladder soft lined pouch good shovel storage decent back pads, waist strap about $80 @ Helmet Outlet.

I have a TNA Lightning pack. It is awesome, I forget I am wearing it.
