Snowtech magazine had an article about Cat's new 858. Basically, they said that Cat is really still years behind Doo and Polaris and needed to come with something big and didn't.
The Cat faithful may be psyched about the new 858, but without a dual rail mountain sled and a turbo, I don't think Cat is going to make a serious dent in sales. It's possible they pick up some people who are sick of the Polaris recalls and quality issues, I guess we'll see.
I do think the new Cats look nice and the quality has improved. But it might be too little, too late.
