Saw a thread titled Uh-Oh couple weeks back and thought maybe he was back........nope, it was aboout something else but still made me remember some of his posts :)

I didn't transfer my join date, but have been a member since 2001. I don't post much, but spend a lot of time "lurking."

What ever happened to "Doug" (I think that is the right name)? He was the number one poster for years in the beginning.

I think the correct name for a 383 is "383lb800."

Do sleds make boost at idle? :D

I remember Doug. He was from Alaska. I was here Oct 2001 but I didnt bother to transfer my join date. Remember when Freak used to be "Polaris Freak"? Those where the days, H20Ske rode a Phazer back then and there was full scale war every week featuring Tetonice against everyone else.

Doug was XLTPowder, he changed his name to Doug when he purchased a Ski Doo. He still lives in Alaska.

Wasn't he a fireman in Fairbanks? Spent more time on the net than with a hose. I guess that is a good thing.

I think it was 04 for me. I was able to keep my original name but
lost my join date & post #. Wasn't that many anyway. This thread
is good because i recognize most of the names. This place has grown
to be almost unrecoginzable, but the sled info is still good.
We are getting the family fleet ready to go.
Waiting for snow, Rat

Doug owns a hardware store in Talketna with his brother I think. Still there me thinks.

Rhea is living in MN the last time I knew, I think you are thinking of the other SledChick800. Rhea was the original SC800.....She was living in Denver in 2002.

Rhea moved home to Minnesota in 2004 - haven't seen or heard from her since.
