I seen quite a bit change on the forums since I joined back in 01'
I think i joined sometime in 99.
Been on here since Nov 02. Didn't bother keeping my old post count and join date, when the site was revamped. Also went from a Cat to a Doo, so new forum name was in order as well. Used to be good time's on here with Animal and some of the other truly funny peep's, now there's a bunch of dip sh!ts on here spewing a bunch of BS for the most part. Still have some cheap entertainment and decent threads at time's though.

I also joined in Nov of 2001. I did not post much in the past, and I don't post much now either. I remember all the informative clutching threads back in the early days. Folks were trying different ideas, especially when the roller secondaries were just getting popular, and people were comparing notes and offering constructive feedback, unlike the bashfest every thread seems to turn into these days. I have about 20 pages of threads printed out from '01 and '02, and use many of them to this day for reference. I don't think I have saved or printed a thread since. So I still check the site out from time to time, but now it is mostly to look for parts or sleds.
Unfortunately, Snowest is not the only forum that seems to have changed the past few years. I frequent other sled forums, ATV forums, RV forums, and vintage car forums, and they all seem to have gone downhill in one way or another.

Honestly, the whole internet has gone downhill in the past 10 years. Sites like "myspace", "gaia", etc.... all invite obnoxious children, and then they pollute other sites with their garbage.
I miss the days when the internet was too hard for stupid people to use.... I blame AOL.
Still a few text-only BBSs that have been around for 20+ years, migrated from dial-in to telnet/SSH, but they're still out there. Usenet hasn't been plagued with idiots either, and a few channels on IRC are still good.
I've only been on SnoWest since 14 March 2007; but i've been a professional internet whore since the early 90s.
