You said it all cal democrats have more money than republicans. then why is cals goverment one of most broke of the 50 states. this is simple its a democrate state pepole like things free from the goverment they want hand outs. i know pepole that voted for oboma because if they didint vote for him they would lose there goverment funding. its dam hard to talk with these pepole in his line of work they cant lose the goverment takes care of them. there is way to many pepole like this in our country sink or swim thats the way it should be.

The super rich pay less taxes because interest is taxed less than normal wages. They pay the same percentage through the tax brackets as everyone else. They make most their money from interest which is taxed less tho.

To provide services that are not profitable to companies. I don't know about you but I enjoy having a military and police force to protect me, roads for me to drive on, and schools for education. Not to mention the research that gets done on the gov't dollar which immensely benefits us, many inventions have stemmed from gov't research.

The police, schools, and most of the roads are paid for by property taxes. Those taxes are in addition to the Federal income tax, which we didn't have a hundred years ago and guess what, we still had research, and the military. So, what exactly do they use the 30 some % of my income for again? I can guarantee you that I'm not seeing my $40,000 worth and the sad fact is they are spending more than that! FAWK giving them another penny.

This can be accomplished easily with a flat tax , same rate, same exemptions (if any at all), no loop holes. "Life" isn't equal in any sense of the word but that does't mean that the income tax system can't be.

Simple answer ... Democrats think government can solve all our problems.

That's why Democrats tithe on average 10% as to what a republina donates to charity.

This year 2012 Democrats took all the snowmobile fees away to use for other purposes. This happened back in the early 90's and courts said it was illegal pay it back. So California wrote a promissory note to the snowmobile (OHV and OSV) fund and never paid it back.

Most of Clinton's tax hikes were repealed by his second tern ... plus the hikes caused a recession.

Clinton couldn't raise taxes on the second half of his presidency because of the republican congress.

Plus he was busy getting impeached for lieing to congress.

"It depends what "is" is" " I did not have sexual relations with that women" (But did have "coffee breaks" with her in a break room adjacent to the oval office)

Some also claim that's why the 9/11 attacks happened since clinton botched the attacks during the "Monica Lewinsky" hearings.

Clinton went toe to toe with Congressman leader Newt Gingrich and they shut down the Federal government.

Gingrich made Clinton balance the budget.

The reason the Clinton era had a surplus was because of Congress plus 4 big big big things happening in private industry

1. Computers PC went under $500
2. Fiber Optics layed thru the USA
3. Statellites freed up for civilian application (GPS & telecommunications)
4 Something called the INTERNET !

Didn't Al Gore invent the internet and realize the oceans were rising?

Oh and Obamma has had NO ONE not even a Democrat voted yes for his budget for 3 years ! They all voted no !

We are wasting endless time debating on how & who to tax when the outcome, whatever it is, will not improve our economic dilema whatsoever.

If we do not start reducing the size of our govt & entitlements & pork barrel programs, we will destroy the best country in the world.

Whether a business, family, local, state or federal govt. it makes no sense to spend money that you have no way of paying for.

Is that hard to comprehend?
