Another avalanche!... Killed my buddy

Sorry to hear the bad news!

It is shocking to hear of all these avy accidents.

That is the main reason I am taking an Avalanche course in the next couple of weeks. Perhaps education will help me in avoiding a situation that could turn deady:(

Sorry to hear of your friend Ken,

M

Hard to read.....

My thoughts and prayers are with all who were on the mountain and those loved ones left behind! Life changes.....and sometimes tragedy rings the bell of our mortality and helps us gain stronger and deeper friendships than we've every had before.

A large group of us just had dinner with Animal (Dave's) great wife Carolyn and his girls tonight. His passing changed my life. I think of him and the loss of a great friend often. I hug my kids tighter and my friendships are so much more important than before....

God bless!

Thats horrible Ken!I have chills just reading this and can't imagine how hard the whole situation would be for everyone involved. As a Paramedic i've seen lots of chit but can't imagine how hard it would be to pull out a friend.Stay safe everyone!
