I am Wyodragons wife, please use his advice. It is a sad deal about the gentleman from MT. Our condolences go out to his family nd friends. There are the websites out there for our use. Also, please wear your beacons - turn them on, have your shovels and probes, stay with your group, and try to make sure your group is more then two or three people. It would have taken us a while to dig our friend out if it would have been just a couple of us that usually ride together. Stay safe, have fun, and we'll catch you on the trail!

Hey Guys as being a new perspective member of Star Valley Search and rescue we went up to the avalanche site where the montana guy got buried there is still alot of unstable snow in all of those bowls and your just asking for it by going up there this guy was stuck got off his sled and went to pull his ski around and the hill broke sad day that bowl still has alot to slide in it the place it did slide hardly ever slides and the places that slide every year have not slid yet

Hate to say it but its been in the 40's the past 2 days. The snow is absolute slush, everything is melting. It's soooooo depressing.
