Now don't be lumping all us conservatives into one big heap...You sound like a lib when you do that. Just because some people went dumb, clouding the real issues (and oh, we know he's got plenty of those, don't we....) with nonsense, doesn't mean we're "inconsistent". It just means the shallow ones can shout too.
Well, when you conservatives start correcting it on your own, then you won't be lumped into it!
Kind of like the whole muslims speaking out against extremist muslims... where are the conservatives speaking out against dumb republicans? They are less then they should be on this forum... especially when it is easier to get a lib in your cross hairs.... so to speak..
Oh, and if a group of people are arguing against someone, like on this site, the group are lumped together, and there arguments as such are too.... It is too difficult (for me anyways) to differentiate between different sub groups in a discussion... Also, if a point goes unquestioned from said group, it is assumed that said group are all in agreement as to the point.

Al Franken is an ultra-liberal socialist, plain and simple. He's no more of a Minnesotan than Hillary Clinton is a New Yorker. And oh yes, he's a TOOL.

Ok, so lumping "sometimes" is ok, but not this time 'cause I decided so. As you are aware, I got fed up as did you with the stupid shallow arguments, and said so. But as you are aware, people that make shallow arguments usually continue to do so 'cause their brains won't allow anything else. i.e. lost count of how many times I called the argument about Obama's middle name stupid and distracting.
