We rode up there yesterday - put 85 miles on all over the mountain. The best snow we found was north of the peaks, and specifically north & west of where the Quealy warming hut was. In the trees was the best, where the sun hasn't hit the snow and settled it. There was probably 8-10 inches of powder in there, great conditions IMO for this time of year.
We hit the backside of the peaks first to beat the storm in case visibility was bad. It started snowing around noon, but the visibility never got that bad, big wet flakes, hopefully it cooled down to drop some of the fluffy stuff too.....
The WYO trails guys were out pulling all of the orange poles that they use to mark the trails up there, other than that we saw a few sleds at lake marie when we went by. It was nice to have the opportunity to ride during the week - back to work today though!
