24 boost det when stabbing throttle hard

E
24 boost 165 325 with Ibexx gen 2 clutching and 10hp tune.

Ride 5-7800’ and run Chevron 94, added 25% 100LL, now run at 50/50. I use the recommend weight setup for Ibexx/Whiskey Throttle.

Engine at temp and ride 8-20 mile trails in, hit good soft snow at 6500’. When I stab hard throttle from a standstill I think it over revs, sometimes med and a couple max det warnings. I’m not too sure what max rpm it hits as we ride technical stuff and I never feel confident enough to look down at the gauge on full pin.

Should I throw some more weight at er? I’ve tried different fuels between 91/93/94 and not much difference. All our fuel in my area except 100LL can have up to 10% ethanol.

I might try their weight setup for the 20hp tune but still run at 10hp. Another question is why is no weight placed in the tip on their stock/10/20 hp tunes?IMG_0763.png

My 23 Boost did this. I ended up using a softer initial rate on my primary spring and added more weight, and it hasn’t done it since. Since mine is stock, you may need to experiment with different springs. The stock spring rate is 165/310, and I installed a Venom 140/320. This reduced engagement rpm (which loads the engine sooner) but maintains basically the same finish rate. I’m currently running Boondocker Talon weights at 76g while riding at 5500-7300 feet.
