2023 cat. Where is it?

Country Cat has pricing up for 2023 pre-orders. Looks like it ranges from $15,000 for a basic 146 up to $16,300 for a 165 with ATAC and ES. ATAC available all the way down to 146 track length.

I wish they would have used the Riot color schemes on the Mountain Cats and Hardcores.

Yamaha has their '23 sleds posted and pre order is live right now. Supposedly limited availability on most models. If anyone is looking for a blue cat.

Yup, the 2023 Cats are on Country Cat's website.

Nothing new, but about $2000 less than a Doo or Poo. Not clear what spring order warranty they are offering.

I can't believe the LTD version of the Blast M is only $400 more than the normal version. I wish I could buy one right now, but alas, my daughter doesn't need it for another year or two.

Can't believe that everyone got hardcore and riots but those in the mountains that ordered mountain cat sleds are still waiting when they could have rode for 4 months if they had gotten them
Some got their Mountain Cats earlier in the season, and some of the orange Hardcores just got delivered as well. Cat's been building what they can when the appropriate parts are available. Sounds like you just got real unlucky on the draw and yours is in the last bunch of that model. The high end ZR RR models are still waiting for shocks. Winter in a lot of places where people could ride those sleds is already over.

Doos 850 SP and Edge both run cheaper than the Cat. A Pro RMK 850 is right in the same ballpark as the Cat.

I wouldn’t necessarily say that Cat is leading the way in terms of value- the other brands have some very capable lower priced options with the only concession being the shocks.

The Mountain Max seems to be the value leader of the Cat line, although they added about $1000 to the price for 23. $14,800 for the 153 SL model. Was $13,800 last year.

New 23 Doo Gen 5 850 SP 154x2.5 is $13,749 +$400 commodity charge

Yeah, strangely, Doo seems to be leading in value right now. You could buy the SP and upgrade the shocks, and I think still end up slightly less than the cheapest Cat or Poo. Basic, non-rebuildable shocks are a negative factor because even if they work ok, you're going to need to replace or upgrade them after a few seasons. Meanwhile, a shock like the typical Walker-Evens Poo uses works ok out of the box, and gets even better with a re-valve and quality oil. Not that it's ever going to match big money shocks, but they're a great value proposition. I don't like Doo's approach of using non-rebuildable shocks, but I think Cat is missing out by not offering a value model with a basic, non-adjustable, but rebuildable shock.

Cat will ship it as soon as they get the “2023” labels for it and put them over the 2022 labels.
They should do that at this point. Be nice if the paperwork said it was a '23 to give a bit more resale. I've heard of manufacturers doing that with unsold cars, but pretty good chance it's illegal at some point. Normally, I'd say just refuse the '22 and demand a '23, but as the old saying goes, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush; that seems more true than ever.
