Bridged the gap huh. Maybe for a 14 year old girl. But the 10-14 year old kid like my boys will be in the next couple of years still are left out of the game. I am a bit disappointed to say the least. Its just a beginner adult sled. Its not a gap bridging sled for the kids. I'm glad I bought the 200s for my boys still.

Nope, sorry, didn't work any better. Anyway, Here is what I could gather from the instagram live feed.
Start with and indy 550 . Get some new side plastics that make it look more like and axys, but it sure seems to me that this is built on a Pro chassis, not an AXYS chassis. Put a little smaller handlebars on it and an electronic limiter to 50 mph. Put on a seat that's a little shorter, and MAYBE they even changed the gas tank a touch to let the kids get closer to the handlebars? I couldn't totally tell on that part.
I'm pretty underwhelmed right now. This seems to be the reincarnation of the freestyle 300 where the reason it doesn't catch on, at least out here in the West is because weight is king in the west and where all they did was strip down a full size sled a little bit, we still basically have a full size sled, just a little weaker.
I hope more details come out to tell me I'm wrong, but right now it just seems to be way too close to a full size sled to really be very helpful for mountain guys.

What kind of sled do you figure your boys need that isn't currently offered? They mentioned suspension and performance upgrades will be available through the Polaris accessories catalog to upgrade the sled as the riders progress.

Huh my 12 yr old has been riding a 2012 600 pro with electric start the last 2 yrs. This sled would be great for the 7 to 11 yr olds. I would have bought one and long tracked for him. Instead of the 97 440 xcf I long tracked for him. At 12 he's about the right size for the 600 now.

Not a 450 lb sled for a 10-12 year old. My Axys is lighter than that so why don't I just put him on my Axys then? Because it isn't the right fit. and that much HP is dangerous for an 8 year old. The 200 is perfect for my 5 and 8 year old. My 8 year old can start to throw around the 200 like I do my 800. I was just hoping for an actual gap bridging sled for a 10 year old not a 14 year old. at 14 i will just have them on an 800 without a problem. The gap is 9/10 -13/14 where the 200 is going to be too small and slow and a 600 is just too heavy to really throw around. It will be just him sitting on the sled and when he gets off the trail he is stuck and i have to go dig out a under powered heavy sled. I guess I am asking for too much here. Just wishful thinking on my part.
