2015 Release... What's coming our way on the 17th?

And that 525 went over so well. Hopefully it's not a KTM or a snow bike of any type. People will get sick of them after the novelty wears off

think of the aftermarket possibilities...extra ski kits and running board kits when they do...

ps...maybe they will make a kit that can be a one ski or two ski...kind of a transformer type snowmobile with detachable attachments..

Sh*t. Didn't mean to hit the thumbs down (damn touchscreen) but a new snow bike would need to have more track underneath it, auto clutch, more power and yes, running boards to make it competitive with their own snowmobiles for similar money

Everyone is sitting there with their tube socks and Vaseline ready for tomorrow. It's just going to be some trail runner with advanced butt warming capabilities. Maybe some fancy new suspension that won't make it into the mnt segment.

Frankly I am still on older iron. The Pro's are light years ahead of what we rode 10 years ago. I'd be happy with some small refinements, bng, and no price increase.

I don't think they will show the entire package tomorrow. Your going to get some teaser that only shows a small portion of it. Kinda like when you were twelve trying to watch Skinemax with the channel scrambled.

Would be the BEST thing they could do right now, IMO.

I'm hearing rumours of a mountain sled in the 172" range along with an 850 Turbo. It will sit on a slightly narrower chassis with Fox suspension. More use of carbon fiber will be incorporated and drop the weight to 412lbs .

I see a slipper gear drawing for the 2013 quick drive in there, also the bonded front rear suspension arm that never came about.

The most intriguing to me; of those drawings is Fig. 54, 55, & 59

Which is a PRO with a substantially longer center to center distance between the Jack shaft and drive shaft. The PRO is currently flat across the bottom (Fig. 53), not humped like in the Fig. 54, 55, & 59 drawing. Likely to fit a 3" paddle and at least an 8 tooth driver. Definitely Mountain sled oriented, no need for that long of a Center to Center on a trail sled.

Glued tie rods Fig. 32A

New Track Fig. 52 A full paddle with traction fingers spaced in between, similar in ways to the Powder Claw but full width paddles

Not buying the 172" track and 850, nor the turbo. Those rumors have been a pipe dream for a long time. I just don't think they'll build something so mountain specific to justify that.

This is funny...Look at the patent date, then look at the running boards.

This is sorta interesting...makes you wonder how far out in advance do they patent their design changes. Think about when things change a lot...and look at the frequency of patent applications on this graph.

Look down to the very bottom for Patent Applications bar graph.

Electronic CVT, now we are talking! Wonder if the Vipec can support that...

If I were to wish for something 'new' to see in the future of sledding, perfect clutching controlled by the ecu would be it.

If it is the drawing I saw; It is how they cast the aluminum gear around the Steel female splined portion and the detail of how they interlock. I may have missed the slipper drawing though, if there was one.
