2015-2016 Island Park / West Yellowstone Snow Reports

I believe it when I see it!!! Got pumped to see snow on the web cam in west on Tuesday only to see that it all got rained and melted off from the warm up over night!!!!

LOL. Maybe he just gets frustrated like me when The Weather Bozos here get the forecast wrong more than they do right especially when it comes to snow.

Cripes, this guy is a Debbie Downer!

Yeah, Cant speak for West, but we didn't get any rain, held most of our snow and it's currently coming down pretty good here at McCree.... Think I'll give it a whirl tomorrow....

Off Topic but I'm headed to West Yellowstone Mid February from Eastern Oregon and I've never snowmobiled that area. Is there an online map of the area with trails? A topo map or a forest map of some kind that I can either print or a place I can order one so I can plan where I want to go before I get there?

The forecast for IP is starting to get way gooder now. Winter storm watch. I really hope all of the negative nannies about the up coming winter are wrong!

Went out today.... Not bad, no bad at all... you probably wont need a shovel but's there's still enough out there for newb's to find a way to still get stuck. Along with the 4" we picked up yesterday, and the frequent snow showers were getting daily, it's starting to add up. With the forecast for Saturday and Sunday, Island Park will be good to go for sure next week..... :thumb:

I don't have any pics. Just keeping my fingers crossed.

I wonder what's going on with the snotel sites? They haven't worked on my browser for a few days. Anyone else having same issue?
