Mt. Lola

We got up to Mt. Lola yesterday. Finally we got to climb some hills. There's still lots of snow left over in the bowl from last year. Got in the trees and did some nice boondocking. My day ended short as I broke a spring in my clutch on my new Pro.

Up Date

Went to the Buttes today and the snow was way better then I thought it would be. Had to find new ways to get there but we were off trail most of day and that is a first for this year. The problem is that the 07 road from the parking lot to Lake of the Woods turn off has a lot of pavement showing. With no snow in the next 10 day forecast, No Snow. Not good for the road and snowmobiling. Sad year but just trying to make the best out of it. We had an awesome day.

so depressing, I'm coming over next Saturday from Australia to ride my new Assault for a month and will have low snow to contend with like home.
Looks like my sled will never see deep pow in its life ...........

Got the grooming report last night and they are moving the trail head up to Perazzo Meadows today.

Yes, you can drive in 6 miles. Just use caution. Still some snow on the road.

Some New Snow

We got 12" here and 2 feet up top out of the storm yesterday. With the new storm tomorrow coming I will be putting my truck back to the parking lot today. Boy I hope we get some feet out of the next one.

Storms here. Hard to tell how much snow we got last night because of the high winds. At least 18" and lots more coming down now.

I am not at home today, had to go in town for work. Snowing in town all day so we must have at least another foot or so. This weekend is going to be awesome. Can't wait.

What a day. It's about time. Got lots of off trial riding today. Get it before it's gone. It was an Awesome day since we all about gave it up for this year.

Castle Today

We headed across Weber Lake and up the hill over to Castle Peak. Out of White Rock we found some untracked bowls. What can I say Awesome. As we dropped into Warren Lake I only saw one track in the whole area of Castle Peak. WTH? I'am guessing you can't get in from DLI. I could not find my way in with all the rocks on the south facing slope. I have a shot of Independence Lake (Which the TH just took from us). We had three great days of snowmobiling. This is a great base just if we could get some more snow soon that would be awesome.

New Snow

Storm looks to be over. We got 5" up here. Up top maybe a foot. I'll find out tomorrow. Sun and a little fresh.

We got out today and the snow we got last week froze. We had fresh on top from yesterday's storm so it was awesome on the north slopes again. Way cold and windy on ridges today. Great to get out with some friends and Ride.

New Snow

Light snow yesterday but not much accumulation. Snowing here right now with 4" to 6" of new snow. With new snow in the forecast this week looks like snowmobiling is not over yet.

Great storm. We got 18" of new snow so far in the last 24 hours. I am at 7000 feet here. We just got snow no rain. This snow has a lot of water in it. Good for the snow pack.
