Snow totals

Looks like 10" was the total...winds picked up last night and left about 5 on the ground....sun is out today. we did not get the additional 6" they were projecting....Took these a few minutes ago.....

More snow last night

3" more snow last night and it stuck...no wind. It was sunny yesterday till about 4pm then it started...still little flurries right now. 20 degree's.

When sidehilling, I think it's safe for me to impart my first season knowledge on this without anyone disagreeing.....do not roll off the throttle!! :face-icon-small-ton Seems gravity can and most likely will take over. I learned very quickly, under fire, how to roll away from my sled as it was rolling towards me. :face-icon-small-hap I then learned why the previous owner took the windshield off. (didn't break just the snaps came undone)...I then got to roll my sled a few times to get it to land on the ski's so I could get it off the hill. It was FUN!!:cheer2:

Where are you gettin your forecast info? When I checked NWS, it said they were calling for a inch. I knew it would snow more than that. Now Thursday they are calling for around 3"... does that mean a foot +? Just curious where to get more acurate forcast.

I watch this site..... http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?map.x=168&map.y=28&site=riw&zmx=1&zmy=1 and I'm in touch with the Chief Forecaster, Brett, in Billings (KULR8 TV)and the NWS Office in Riverton. We almost always get more than what they call for. We are in a weird area and they can't always get it right for us. I have a snow stick outside and use a tape measure when I go out and blow a path in the driveway.

Wyoming High Country

We rode around and stayed at Wyo high country this past weekend. Snow was good for the most part, but the lodging was another thing. That's one of the most relaxing stays we've had in awhile. Corey and Dawnie treat you like your family. It's nice when you want something there you can grab it, write it down and not have to bother someone. the place is clean, neat and very relaxing, and very good home cooked food. we will be back again. Last but not least is a big thank you to Corey for the time you have spent serving our country, that is very much appreciated!!! Wes, Michelle, & Blaine. P.S. you can serve all our meals on paper plates if you'd like, doesn't matter what the plate is, but how good the food is.

No snow today

Winds are a blowing allright but the last snow was heavy enough it's not being blown away. 29 outside. Sunny. This is some good snow to ride in, having fun. No visitors today. 5 yesterday and 3 on monday. Looks like we will get more snow tonight, tomorrow and friday for sure. Up to 9" projected. Need someone to ride with. If you are on the mountain during the week stop by and I'll go out with you. Weekends are kinda hard to get away because we have guests and visitors that come first.

Visitors next weekend....

We are going to be hosting/housing a group of reps next weekend. 29-31 March. They will be bringing bikes and doing demo's for clients and other scheduled customers. They will be here friday (29th) mid morning and might have some free time in the afternoon to talk about and show off the bikes to walk-ins. Looks pretty cool.
