Well, we did a 3 club ride last year, and took a grill, food, trash cans out to the Y for the afternoon with the Club BR2k. Worked pretty well.
I'll check w/ Phil - if we exceed a certain # of people, we need a USFS permit and an act of congress. Usually we don't push those kind of numbers though.
I think the break point is like 75 people.

Sorry for no responses earlier but I was having some puter/network issues and trying to restrain myself from setting my router on fire with the propane torch or taking the hand-cannon to it.
By the way I now owe Mule a bottle of JD
Anyway, yeah as soon as I get the raffle donations lined up and sponsor logos in place I will have my bro's wife get to work on the shirts. I have to inform you though that there may be a slight delay due to her mother's current medical condition (just got that news while dealing with the computer issues). Anyway that should be resolved by the time the logos and donations are in and if it is not I will find another supplier to do the shirts.
As far as shirt options there's a few things that we can do.
T-shirts are obviously the cheapest route, we can also do hoodies but they will be more expensive. All shirts would be screen printed and available in probably 2 colors like last year most likely black and gray, if we do hoodies those will be a single color only. All the shirts will have the same printing, no customization or changes once the screens are made.
there is also the option of doing ball caps that would be embroidered with the same logo that's on the front of the shirts (like last years shirts) but they would have the option of having your name or screen name embroidered on the back above the hole. Embroidery is much more flexible than screen printing but not well suited to a bunch of logos on a t-shirt as it would fit like crap and be very expensive.
So all said and done once the logo's are in and the design for the shirt is completed I can start taking orders for shirts, hoodies and hats. I will build a spreadsheet with the costs of the items, and how much from each purchase is going to the cause of choice be it anti-hidden gems, saws, BRC, etc. and then post that spreadsheet on here for all to see along with the invoices for the items and the checks both copied and canceled copy for all to see so there is NO CONFUSION of where the money went.

I'd rather have a hoody. I think that could be taken care of with a poll of who wants what. I have enough tshirts and now they are slowly becoming work under the truck shirts. I would also like to speak for 2 hoodies/t-shirts. One XL and one really small one for a larger than normal 5 yr old, I think he wears a size 6/7 now but will be in an 8 by 2010.

Well I have yet to find a room mate you are welcome to stay with me. I'll even pay for the room. So all you have to worry about is food and I am sure we can take care of the gas for the sled. I can pick you and your sled up on my way through denver. Let me know. I want this to be a great ride.

Well, I work for Wells Fargo (the brokerage arm); we bailed Wachovia's a$$es out by buying them, and who's calling the shots now? Wachovia people
I've actually known since March or so, just didn't know the actual end date until a couple weeks ago. I've been here for 20 years, so they'll be paying me (with insurance, etc) for the next year. The big question is what (if anything) I'll be doing then and if I can make it...

Dunno, I'll tell you for sure next week ... she's coming to visit and seems to like the idea of coming to the 4M ride as well
Hey Shawn, I got your PM. Thanks for the invite. I can't commit to coming just yet. I will probably be there but I don't want to commit until I know for sure. My days have been crazy lately. I'll catch up with you and Ralph soon.
