Great report especially the pics thanks guys. Been duck hunting and deer hunting so its starting to feel like the season is upon us. Another month of this and I will really be getting the itch. Anyone from the Omaha, Lincoln, or surrounding area that wants to get together for a meet and greet let me know, it would be great to have a list of names and numbers to reach out to share travel expences or just to fill a group to ride with. Anyway if anyone wants to we could start another thread and move this forward.
How you been , Hope alot of riders get your post and head out this season . When your out let me know we need to plan a ride , show me where to go.
Heading to the Snowies in January, I've been looking at google Earth and topo maps trying to get a "feel" for the area. If you guys could post up picks of certain landmarks with their name, that will help me also. I have seen pics of "seven fools" hill, and have figured out where it is on google earth. Are there certain areas we should avoid? I have read that the French creek area is not a place for newbies.
Thanks in advance guys.

Yah that was a friend of mine that was not familiar with the area.
And i think there was another two guys that spent the night down near french creek and tried to walk out the next morning. One dude collapsed from exhaustion and the other kept going on. Eventually Cody from the snowy range tours found em and even went back and recovered there sleds. There used to be a thread on here about it.
Firecat guy thinks its funny, but its a serious situation.
French creek can be a good area to ride in, but if you go to far down to the bottom you may not get back out.
I ride the snowies alot and familiar with the area. If any of you guys want to go out and ride some hidden stashes, i would be willing to show a few of you. And im always looking for new sledding buddies.

I like riding down in French creek. Many guys dont like going down there but realy theres only one spot that can get a guy in trouble. Thats going down off the water fall and then the next 100 yards after that. If any one wants me to take them down into French creek I will be happy to show them around.
I took a 1996 polaris ultra all the way down in there last year. I have some cool video of it climbing out of the creek just south of the water fall.
Heres some pics from last year if you want to check them out.
