thinking about riding sunday and monday ..would like to find someone to ride with ..experienced rider i have good skills..riding buddys back out this time of year..
Hoping all this holds out until next weekend, and of course wouldn't hurt to have more. Been too long without riding and need to get at least one more ride in
Will certainly do that. Hoping things work out, may end up being too busy through the weekend, having a full time job and your own business gets in the way of play time way too much sometimes!
anyone have a current condition report? thinkin about makin a drive tommorow for a ride on Sat. - Sun. wondering if it'd be worth the trip and where there's still snow. thanks in advance.
today it was wet and heavy snow sunny and about 55 degrees. great day, hero snow. soft mostly everywhere so if it gets cold its going to rock up. plenty of snow still though. probably going to rain thurs?
Would like to jump in for a ride Fri and Sat.
Couldn't pull my son out of school on Thursday to ride fri/sat. Anybody got room for a tagalong, know area well, won't hold you up.

Was a great spring day today, blue sky's and pretty decent snow. There is more snow right now on the west side of the Horns than I have ever seen before. The rock slide beside the road is pretty big, it's right up close to the top of the pass and eerie driving around it.
Anyone want to ride this weekend. Im going up tomarrow and probably staying at bear. Just me so far. Buddy was up today and they got another foot of fresh
I don't know about foot of fresh j. koltes, but if you can get to the high country you will find PLENTY of soft stuff. A couple of buddies and I rode yesterday west and south of Bear Lodge and OMG the snow was ridiculous up high. I have lived here for over 20 years and have not seen this much snow for a VERY long time. The cornices are epic huge and the top of the hills and ridges have plenty of snow for this time of the year. Today here in Sheridan I woke up to about 3" so I can only imagine what the mountain is gietting. Make sure and bring some displacement and plenty track length. Hero snow will make the man!! Grip it and rip it!!
We rode up there over Easter weekend and it was incredible then. Wish the regs allowed for a little longer backcountry riding season because you could easily ride into June this year.
Hard to tell since its dark but there's an easy six inches in the elk view parking lot on top of that they plowed it off mid day. Its going to be a good day. Except for the by myself part again
