;) meter deep on the north slopes below treeline......60miles today and not a track to be seen until we came back to Superbowl:D It was epic.....but cracking on the mallest of slopes as well the new log blocks on the Veideman had deposit across the trail......probly broke 1 meter at the crown:eek:

Check avalanche.ca prior to heading out.

Anybody got any recent pic of condtions on boulder??? Heading up on the 7th, hopefully your sled will make it a full day this trip Prairie Dog!!!!!

No they won't go by fast enough all right!!!! I will keep up you just try and keep it running:D:D:beer;

I rode Boulder the 29th, 30th, and 31st. We rode mostly to the south side off the beaten trail before dropping into Super bowl(first bowl after alberta hill ?) It was over a meter deep, some of the best tree riding I have ever done, did not even get 40 miles to a tank of fuel either day....
Best vacation ever.....
I will say though, that if you went up high you could not see your hand in front of your face, but down low was epic.

It snowed about 2ft in town from both the 31st and 1st so I am guessing it is deep up top.

We rode Friday, Saturday and Sunday, fresh snow each day. Friday at Turtle with a foot of fresh. Saturday on Boulder, four inch's more fresh, some wind swept on top, the corridor through to the Sugar Bowl was packed, but the fringes were all POW... We couldn't resist the beautifully groomed trail, so we went back to Boulder for more POW on Sunday.

Woke up to six inchs of new fresh in town this morning, it kept snowing hard all morning, by 1300hrs it was turning to light rain, pretty slushy around town this evening. Laird is up right now, I'll get the scoop when he gets home and try to remember to let you know what's happening up top.

At this point, I think it it pretty safe to assume it is dumping huge in the alpine, ....the lower trail may take it hard over the next few days of this "pinapple express" though....

We rode Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in Revy/Sicamous areas, Visability was awesome, noticed quite a few small natural slides from 4-7 days prior. Definately a couple of weak layers.:( One about a foot down and another approx 2.5 ft down.

I know I'm looking hard at all the forecasts just because I only get a couple cracks at revy and would like to be able to see somewhat:D Its a crap shoot at this point from what I can see.

Good morning all, I talked to Triple Black when he got in from riding last night, he said there was 1.5 feet of fresh heavy snow up top, ..it was still snowing then of course. It is raining in town this morning, and did so most of the night, should be lots of new above 2000 metres, but getting very soggy at low elevations. Very wet in town....

Cheers

Rode boulder Fri, Sat, Sun it was tracked up in the main areas, but found lots of spots in the trees that were amazing waist deep pow. It went on for mile, miles and miles of this enough that we played there for 2days and there was still more..... The pole at the cabin said 9.5 feet, trails were good grooming them and it was snowing heavy Monday morning when we left for home. We left at 4am and there was already a foot at least in town and still snowing heavy. Well that is about all i will try and get pics up:beer;:beer;
