wind was blowing in Cenntenial last night 50 plus..sounded like it was going to tear the roof off the cabin..I would of never guessed riding would be an option today but woke up this morning and sun shining calm winds. Should be a good day again.

Help

Anybody coming out this weekend have a oiler cable for a 2007 600 RMK? If so I will be checking back in tonight. Will be at the Bear tree later so if anybody has a spare please respond. Mine is starting to hang up and fray..hoping it will get me through the day.

edit, mine is carbed.

Lost My Camera 1-1-10

Lost my camera today while changing goggles i guess. I was at the intersection of U and N on the west side, It is a canon power shot 710is
with a gray fabric carry case and strap. I am sure I lost it right on the road.
If any one found it, I would sure like it back, I will make it right with whom ever may have found it. Its not worth much except for the photos to me.
If found please contact RickM

Rode today visibility was still poor but was not freezing to your goggles like yesterday. Stayed in the trees most of the day. Snow is DEEP, sun comes out it will be a great day. Snow was deep enough that if you didnt circle back on your track in the meadows you would be stuck. Most of the time getting started you had to run along side of sled to get moving in the deep snow to keep from getting stuck. Nice pic of Beeman stuck just taking off in a meadow...trenched prolly 4 feet.

Snow is extremely DEEP right now. Alot of sleds tearing around but if you know some of the sweet spots there is still untouched parts. Base is finally setting up in most spots.

VISIBILITY SUCKED TODAY!!!!!

Riding 2nd thru the 6th

We are staying at Albany Lodge from the 2nd to the 6th... Where did you guys ride today Himark?? ... We found a couple decent spots but nowhere near the snow that you guys had. Any reply would be great. Thanks.

also if u r wanting to ride up top n u r staying in albany u should trailor your sleds up there to the green rock parking lot .since its a 18 mile scoot from albany to libby flats one way... u will run short on fuel is what im trying to say.,.

Thanks drypowder .... i don't think we will be going to greenrock though... we're pullin an enclosed 4 place with an f-150 and it struggled gettin into laramie on i-80 ... guess we'll have to go with what we can find. We're carryin 3 5 gallon gas cans though so that will help on gas a bit. Thanks though.

We have b een riding from our cabin 11 miles up from Albany since Wednesday. 18 inches plus of fresh snow since we got here on top of what was already great snow. We rode waist deep snow all day today and didn't see another sled until 3pm. There is plenty of snow west and north of Albany. You don't need to trailer up top.

Oh sweet... We are leaving albany around 8 tomorrow i believe... maybe we'll see ya around because we were planning on heading north and west actually. Thanks alot for the info though. Enjoy the fresh pow.

Heading out thursday or friday for a few days of riding. Sled is all ready to go CPI did there magic and cant wait to check it out.

Today was pretty good snow, just bad parking like usual. Not sure who the yahoos were in the motorhome and other couple trucks who parked in the middle of the road but not cool. Anyway hope to make it up again soon

How about the pickup and trailer that double parked going down just past the BIG MOTORHOME and making a one lane road up to the turn around and back down past the vehicles parked in the middle.

When I pulled out of the parking lot yesterday afternoon there was a WHP and a Sherriff headed up the hill around Sandlake. I was hopeing they would patrol it and start ticketing all the illegally parked vehicles but by the sounds of it nothing happened.

My rant for the day was that if you need to jackknife your trailer to unload your sleds why would you not straighten it out before you leave.

Wow!!!!!!!

Just got back last night we road friday and it was the best early snow Ive ever seen.Im running a 174x16 and was still scared to stop off a track.I blew a hole out that was 5ft deep and still didnt hit bottem. Most of the powder seemed to be 3-5ft deep with base in most areas.Alot of people on friday will probably be tracked up after this weekend.
