Not a bad place to live!!!!!!!!

Obviously, I'm warped. What can I say, when we tell folks we winter in Wyoming they give us that--- you've got to be kidding me look--.

If a person had a turbo the snowies would seem a good choice to winter~~~~~right Dan?:cool:

I rode the Madres today and it was the most miserable I have been since the mid 70's in the Big Horns!
The snow was decent in the trees on the NORTH side! The Madres got around 2-2 1/2 feet of new.
As Dan said the wind was unbelievable. There were wind drifts all the way up the road they were fun to hit until the wind blows you off the road!
The snow was good but it was just to dangerous to be riding with the wind chills around 40 below. We called it it a day at 1pm
We will try to hit it again this weekend..

Been there done that, it gets bad over there. Big group of us going the 18th, hopefully the wind dies down some! Did you even make it in very far?

We got over the top and dropped down in the trees on the north side. It was nice down there. By the time I made it back out on top the wind was really nuking and I knew where I was but I was very disoriented. A pure white out with the visiability of about 20 feet. It was time to get the hell off the top!!
Only 2 of us got frostbite:)

Hey Alan, how was Togwotee last week?

Al bailed had a city planning meeting for his new bldgs. We had some over the hood powder then you would work your way around the trees and you would have a foot. Pretty typical for the first weekend in Dec. No carnage thats all that mattered we had some great jumps and some monster drifts we tore up for a while. But it was cold as hilarys tata after Monica spit.

Does anyone have any recent pictures?

Here's a pic of today in Council Bluffs, IA :D:p:D

We rode south of Plattsmouth today rode some native grass fields that had 2 foot of fresh powder. Wasn't all hard like the road ditches. Got the Renegade stuck two times.

tog, how far do you venture from cb? I'm 20 miles east. I'm sore as a sob, the drifts are pretty rough. the snow was awesome before the wind blew. At least I got a tank of fuel through the sled before it makes its home out west, for the rest of the winter.:beer;
