Update
Today's word for the day: SNOW!!!! Our base is finally developing and we are forecasted to receive another 1 to 2 feet of the new snow.
Grooming appears to be back on track. However, the budget is tight for the state trails department. So please support our trails by buying your resident or nonresident snowmobile registration.
I am working on getting some pictures. We are just having to much fun.

The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE. Deep slab instability persists on a variety of aspects. Backcountry travelers venturing into avalanche terrain could trigger these large, dangerous avalanches with slab depths up to five feet. While these slabs are becoming more difficult to trigger, they could still be released by the weight of a single person encountering a weak zone in areas where the snowpack is thin. Yesterday, a snowboarder remotely triggered a slide with crown depths up to 14 inches on a southerly aspect at an elevation of 9,500 feet. Use conservative decision making, careful route finding, and good travel habits. Training and experience are essential for safe travel in avalanche terrain.
