Update
Today we are receiving more snow. The past storm gave us 1/2 foot of new snow. Snow continues to be in the forecast. Togwotee Pass has 45" of snow. The riding continues to be great and should only get better. We are finding the trails great as well. The new groomers are doing a great job. Brooks Lake Lodge is now open and is open for lunches to the public. We are also open for breakfast, lunch, & dinner.
We are hearing of a big storm for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It is to early for a forecast, but we are hearing substantial snow (over 2 feet).
The following is the forecast:
Today: Snow likely, mainly before 11am. Cloudy and cold, with a temperature rising to near 10 by noon, then falling to around 2 during the remainder of the day. Wind chill values as low as -15. West wind between 8 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Tonight: A 20 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around -1. Wind chill values as low as -20. West southwest wind between 8 and 11 mph.
Wednesday: Snow likely, mainly after 11am. Cloudy, with a high near 11. Wind chill values as low as -15. Southwest wind between 10 and 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
Wednesday Night: Snow likely. Cloudy, with a low around 8. Wind chill values as low as -10. Breezy, with a southwest wind between 15 and 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE. Recent snowfall has formed soft, shallow slabs. Backcountry travelers could trigger these slides, along with loose snow sluffs on steep, wind-loaded slopes. Older slabs, up to 30 inches in depth, could also be triggered on similar slopes. Evaluate the snow and terrain carefully and use good travel habits.
