2.75 verdict?

And the motor is junk, brakes are junk, clutch is definitely junk. Matter of fact the whole sled is junk. Look on Craigslist for an XLT. It's the best sled and I have a bunch of old parts I'd like to sell you once you buy it. Now only if I was old and couldn't even ride these things the way they should be ridden you'd believe me more ???

69 trouble free miles on mine:))) some one needs to put a ****ing muzzle on chandy, I’ve been away for awhile but **** what is his deal:))))))))) Baker with chains from the summit is next :))

I rode today the Doo track and I was impressed. Sled was flying out of the snow. Bowties and Hop overs were way easier. It climbed very well too. Pulled a couple long steep shoots. I would say it's an improvement over the 2.75 for sure. However it sounds like a helicopter. And it's vibrates like crazy. You just have to look past that. I also don't think it gets quite the track speed but I think it's because the paddles are laying over.

Trench at all?
Is vibration coming from drivers? Windows on polaris are stamped bigger than on my lynx. Wonder if that's the difference because I dont have any of that.

It trenches more than the 2.75 for sure but it's not a horrible trench. Riding technique is definitely a tad different but it literally took me an hour to figure it out. By the end of the day I was loving the track. You can control the Ski lift but it definitely wheelies more. Caleb was telling me that my paddles were laying over bad but I didn't know. He had stated it has about a 500 mile life and the paddles just lay over after that. I also think if you run a loose track that contributes to it laying over. My sled slaughtered a 165 Pro Boost up the hills today. And the Boost was making more track speed and pulling more RPMs so obviously the 2.75 was laying over. TRS and Rusty might be on to something by the calling the 2.75 junk. ?

The 2.75 paddles lay over at .1 miles.

Especially with a boost.

Would the paddles on the 2.75 laying over be the reason it gets up on top of the snow so good. Instead of just cutting the snow and shooting it out the back causing trenching, the paddles fold and throw some snow downward which reduces trenching and adds some lift in good powder. Trade off is reduced trenching at the expense of climbing.

Didn’t you say the Lynx track sucked on a Polaris? Something about a McCall rider had one and he said it sucked? I’m sure I have the documentation somewhere. ?

I call fake news.

That was probably me. I flip flop on that skidoo track a lot. Love it in the deeper snow. More setup snow I have a harder time with it. Especially in tight trees where you notice the weight more.
The 2.75 is easy for me to ride tight trees in. It switches directions very fast. That constant spinning and breaking snow has some benefit. Hard to find one track that does it all in so many various conditions and terrains.
I’m also a guy that will be running the m66 on my 146 for the rest of the season ?. Idk how it does on longer sleds, but it kicks butt on the 146. Especially for spring riding and more hero type snow! I went to a lot of trouble to source it. Had to fly it from Sweden to Idaho, so I better like it!
