14 pro bully dog silber bogging

The MNTK kits are working good with the Bullyfdog. For the ease of it most people would be happy. So, fix the f--king map already. Glad your Boondocker kits are working this year BTW. Does not help the Silber guys though bud.

He never called back just said he would after lunch. At least when Corey says he will call after lunch I can expect a call. No feelings hurt here, just dont like to see people being dicks……remember how we met???? Yea I dont like people treating other like crap like that dude that was bashing on you and your wife, you remind me of him now. So we are done right? just leave this alone and go to your boondocker thread.

I deleted my post and apologize to anyone who took offense...Wasnt any of my business...

Good luck to all the sledders out there who have kits, hopefully you're ripping sooner than later!

I see a lot of very frustrated silber customers and dealer for that matter. I just don't understand y something hasn't come out yet. Justin gave me help last year after I flamed him for the issues that I had yrs previous. It all revolves around the maps that are programmed into these bd boxes. Maybe some have install issue but the majority don't. Why hasn't he come out with a few different maps? I am sure there is plenty of guys willing to meet up so he can diagnose there sleds. I like Corey, I think he is a great asset to silber turbo. Although he couldn't even reply to my pm. Me personally hate to see so many guys that are having these problems with the one thing in there life that they live for, I really think Justin could do more but I also thought that 4yrs ago

I will use this thread to update current status but cannot continue to engage in this stuff every day. Most of you have my number and can just call me. I will be unavailable during the days as I just got a new job that requires me to be without a phone from 8-5 MST but will return calls after that.

And another good one is disappearing because of the snowest wrath...

Flew to my sled today and pulled apart BOV and piston was cocked. Aluminum on aluminum on one side. Not sure if this is my problem but I'm pretty sure it is not helping if it was sticking open.

If there were two thin o-rings on the main body or some hard anodizing and no o-rings other than the one that seals, there would be less chance of it not sealing. I still believe there are two issues other than this. The actuator and the map. I wish I had one of the older actuators to try.

Is there much difference between the actuator on the kpa turbo and the one in last years kit? I am just wondering as I have last years kit that I did the update on this year and knock on wood it runs well.

I haven't heard too much problems with the BOV's until this year. Did something change? Ihave been running that same BOV for 3 years and never had a problem. I have had it apart several time to grease it and it is definately not sticking.

Just keep it greased so it moves freely, You need both orings the large one to capture the set boost pressure to keep the piston closed. The small one to keep the set boost pressure from leaking down on the boost tube. If your sleds BOV caughs when you let off the gas and then when you punch it again and you can build boost to set pressure the its good. If you cant build boost or it pegs out your boost gauge when you let off then you have issues. I think the marks you see are just the tight tolorance the piston had on the cut out holes to relieve the pressure. I polished mine both the pinston and the inside of the bov around the holes. there where a few that had some lip built up on them.

Exactly what friscospices said. Just be sure to use a light grease and just a thin coat is required.

In the process of taking kit #2 off after today's debacle in four feet of fresh snow and blue bird day. Might add going back to simple pipe and head was awesome to ride all day with out a glitch.... Anyone want some real expensive paper weights? Lol

On the forge website the recommended spring for that BOV is the green spring rated for 5-15 psi

Forge Motorsports in Orlando FL (Talk to a guy named Maison) – part number 2FMDV004-A. Yellow main and yellow secondary springs.

I installed it on a 14' Pro this weekend and it worked very well. Running in 6-10k foot elevation. The sled ran excellent. I think this BOV does is better sized for the amount of air that needs to be vented. I was told if the BOV is undersized the charge tube could remain at a higher pressure so the fuel control box senses this and continues to add fuel even though fuel is not needed causing the rich bogging.

For you guys that are out of ideas this might be worth trying.

Did have a couple of DETs but might have been octane related.

This would make sense with the long wide open pull up a shoot that seems to have sudden bog. From too much pressure it over fuels and it bogs out. Is that something you had the opportunity to try yet? Long wide open pull?

Makes sense, thanks I will give them a call.

Rode today with the new bov and a couple other changes and almost rolled my sled twice when it bogged. I'm done chasing solutions other than tuning. Either Silber makes this right or I'm forced into spending another 2+k to fix it with a Vipec. What's it gonna be.....
