I hope you still have your fluoro fanny pack of tools for snow shoeing? High jacked the thread? Your like a celebrity on the Torpy scene now. Ride the wave Bro! Oh ya another 51cm's last night. with 233cms this week. Great snowshoeing down here right now. Got tools, Will travel?

Torpy was AWESOME!!

Had an awesome day out there today....we parked at the McGregor camp but there was a few that parked in a ways. Next snowfall I think that will be done. The Burn was good.....want to thank the guys that cut the stumps in the fall, it's easy to get up now. Lots of fresh snow up top, the first bowl was epic. A couple guys in our group ventured past the second play area but started running low on fuel. Went back in played in the first bowl a bit. It was really tracked up by then, lots of sleds out today....more sleds than I think I've EVER seen out there in one time. Not sure the exact depth of the snow up top, forgot to probe but I'd say between 5-6 feet. Awesome early season riding!! :):):):)

We saw the guys with the Turbo Yammies playing on the steep to the left hand side in the first bowl (there were quite a few turbo yammies in that bowl while we were there...) our group went on to the next play area (after the drift) and when we came back a couple hrs later to the first bowl we saw a lime green Apex that sounded a little hurt. We saw the tracks up the steep to the left and the roll marks, we assumed that was the sled. Yeah....I should have took some videos yesterday, watched a pretty done up Apex on race gas pulling a lot of boost out of that bowl, there wasn't a hill big enough for that thing. I just can't believe how some of these guys ride nowdays, it's definitely entertainment, I'm gonna try and get some vids one of these days!!

Ya Torpy was great on Saturday! A little bit foggy in the morning but opened up a bit for some good riding. Was surprised to see so many people in there! I guess everyone has the itch.

The Turbo that took the roll was a red/burgundy one. The green one was in the first bowl while we were playing around there and was already pulled open; I guess it was aleady done. Was a pretty sharp lookin sled though. I'm hearing ya about the video camera though; that Turbo Yammi pull was movie material!! Can't wait til boxing day at Future Shop to get a video camera!!

Nice pics.....I especially love the pic of the untracked powder shot.....it must have been you guys that made those two tracks into the last meadow!! lol

I'm finally in this weekend for the pow fest. That is if there's any pow left after the 9 degree weather we're supposed to be getting this week.

Some Fear you should push enter after every pic before you post the next one, then they will all scroll down, not sideways
