Yup, go to http://www.snowest.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1170030 for details. He had some fantastic machines before anyone else did. I met him on the side of Tumalo mtn near Bachelor back about 18 years ago. He let a buddy of mine ride one of his machines and then offered one to me, but I was too afraid to. You could go over the top without any problem.

PS, rode up from Donnelly shed to No Business pass and then onto West Mtn on Saturday and was good on the logging roads but someone went up the main road over the top in a four wheel rig. Torn up pretty good. Need snow, maybe a couple of feet so we can start grooming.
The snow still doesnt look like it has set up to much more than it was on Friday. is it closer to 2ft of base yet? Rather than 1ft of base and 2ft of fluff.
pix from today, only had the phone for pics but you get the idea...this was on the wongs side on northeast facing aspect in the trees....starting to base...south aspects are pretty thin from the sun but everything will be a great base for the next good stoem which looks like saturday or sunday.
Phil
probly riding where i shouldnt for the amount of snow but fun none the less, i trenched most the way and didnt hit anything, either lucky or windloaded snow to about 4ft....HAHAHA
Can we get an update from up there? It snowed here in Boise, I'm hoping its snowing in McCall, but people are telling me you're gettin' nothin'. Want to go ridin' on Tuesday dec. 8th. if possible.
You can go riding, but their still isnt much snow. took the rzr up their this morning on the backside, where no one rides. Got into bout 30in at right around 6,800ft. lots of fun though, I will post some pics in a bit.
So where is the latest update??? looks like everybody just forgot about this thread!!!! (sorry guys, computer decided to show the rest right after i sent this)
Fun day in fact, sunshine, and found close to 30in right before the base of the backside of granite. Ya I know, thats exactly what dad was saying. We should of gotten the S, the big horns hook up wayy better, and it fits in the tracks of pickups. Unlike the standard where your going sideways all the time.
I hear people riding up Anderson toward 4 corners occasionally but I have yet to chance my sled out there yet. It is pretty boney.
Valley county needs some snow to warm us up. It is just frickn cold (-11 atm). Watching the radar I would not expect much snow this weekend in Cascade with 40/50% chance. I hope I am wrong but going steelhead fishing anyways.
The lake sounds like whales swimming around singing. Ice is forming a crust over the lake and moving around. You can hear it from Crown Point to West Mountain inside the house. The snow must usually muffle that sound out.
How far up Warren Wagon are you trailering up before you unload or are you going up to Brundage?
