08 XP 163...best mountain sled EVER built bar none!!!

Slick, nobody's angry at you. In fact, I find it comical at all the XP bashing. 95% of the owners know how they run, and that they are the funnest stock sled ever built. Everybody is entitled to there opinion. I'm sure Dragon owners find that they own the best sled ever built, other wise they wouldn't have spent 10g on it. It's just the 4 or 5 guys on here that don't even own an XP, that keep bashing them. Every body know's who they are, and there opinion means nothing to anybody, but they keep doing it trying to get 1 person to agree with them. So far it hasn't worked, but they'll never give up I suppose. It would just be nice once in a while if you guys had anything constructive to say to help people out instead of telling them how stupid they are for buying an sled you don't like. Oh, and you don't need to worry about my hobby's, I seem to keep my self entertained when I'm not at work.

Guys like SLICK keep it interesting. HE DOESN'T RIDE OR OWN A SLED but he feels "special" enough to educate everyone else about the current state of snowmobiling. What a trip, huh?

Thanks TP, I do feel special. You seem like a pretty interesting fella yourself.
And hey Chubbydog, wouldn't it be hilarious if I actually owned an XP and was just picking at some of you fellas who own one, but are still a little nervous about the quality and longevity you can expect, so naturally feel an little extra urge to defend their purchase.
That'd be funny eh !

We all know if you actually owned an XP, you'd spend more time riding it instead of complaining about it. If I was looking for longevity, I would have bought a Yamaha. I'm not looking to get 10,000 miles out of a sled. I've never even owned a sled for more than 2 years, I want something that's fun to ride that year, then when something lighter with more power comes out I'll get that. I've ridden all the new chassis, and there all exceptionally fun to ride. I just prefer the XP to any of them right now. JMO! Pokin fun at your friends when they get stuck, and making fun of there brand is all part of the sport, but when the only posts you make is to try and put down the XP, it get kind of old. Don't ya think? Although it does make it interesting reading I guess.

He doesn't own a sled. I don't think he really owns a Harley or is part of the HOG group either. He rides that mini bike from the movie Dumb and Dumber:face-icon-small-blu

I own an M7, my buddy just got an XP the other day. I hated it the first day, couldn't ride it, kept diving on me, etc.... but you know what... I rode it again today, little more comfortable, and it rips! I think the title of the post is right... they are good.

just like a rev. it takes 30 minutes to learn to love it. iv only got like 20minutes of time on an XP and i still hate the handling, but power for power it rips like my mt cat mod. makes your arms sore after hangin on.. thats the fun factor right there haha.

I like the laxative on the toilet scene! Nothing worse than having your stomach doing backflips with a hot chic waiting for ya! The broken toilet seals the deal! Brutal:face-icon-small-win

Have yet to see a Yamaha impress me.

Rode the xp dont see what all the fuse is about, it doesnt feel light, average power and very tempermental. Turbo a 4stroke and be untouchable by every other manufacturer for years to come. And yes in deep snow apex handles better than xp and doesnt get stuck weight not an issue with boost.

i honestly would not ever need any sled to handle better in any type of snow than my XP. as far as getting stuck. i guarantee that an xp would get stuck less, regardless of any mod. and with at least 70 lbs lighter, i can't see an apex doing anything better. how much would it cost to boost it anyways? my sled was 11k and i don't think i'll ever do anything but the can i put on and cut another 14 lbs. good luck! i've seen one yamaha make it to the base of where i ride. doubt i'll see many more and definitely not to the top.

Now here is a perfect demonstration in the fine art of BACK PEDDLING through YOUR OWN BULLCHIT

REAL SLICK<<<~~~~~~~~GET!!!

You know what Revneck,, I really did try to answer your comments with respect and understanding towards your obvious belief that the XP (great sled) is the be all and end all for everyone.
Now its becoming apparent thats notgoing to work.
The reason for that is you constantly display all the behaviour of a whiny little tit who when called on it as Darko did your dumb hillclimb result stats, you immediatley go to a$$-kissing mode , as you did after Darko's post so as to not be labeled. Too late pal.
There are other great sleds out there as choices this year.......Live with it.

arguing over the big sleds would be more interesting.this is kinda like arguing which is the best 120

That's what I was thinking as I read this whole post. It's 2008. How can it be the best mountain sled ever????? I think this thread should have been titled "08 XP 163...best stock mountain sled ever". It still would not be accurate IMO, but at least you may be on the radar somewhere. I'm pretty sure the best mountain sled ever is at the very least making 250 HP. Probably 350 HP. I assume by definition a mountain sled is a sled that can climb mountains and manuver around in them. I won't say what sled I think does hold this title, but at the very least you have to admit it's a boosted sled.

ROFLMAO....LOL

Do you ride as good as you read???

My posts showed racing results for ALL SLEDS...FACTS that you SLICK interpret as ????? Who knows

Equal support for all brands and no statements of support that the XP is the be all and end all??? WTF are you on about this time???

Re-read....then SPEW.... okay SLICK

Darko was simply seperating out hillbilly climbs...from Deep POW riding.. and I clarified I am not a hillclimb racer....but a backcountry rider... He rides the same mountains I do...and totally gets why I posted those STATS, however you chose to interpret this years hillclimb results FOR ALL BRANDS as only a plug for the XP...WTF

It does not even mention XP in what I posted or in any of the race results~~~> SHEEP DIP

Geezuz....the link clearly READS CATS and DOO's on top...even Yammis are in the mix when the rest of us READ THE FACTS ...all be it on hillbilly hill climbs

and the FACT that Poo did not show well...or even place in several catagories...may mean NOTHING...

THOSE ARE THE FACTS...

So you get all teary eyed and start to snivel and whine when facts counter your DOO rant ...and BASH

Yup....looks like an *** kissin is in order....KISS MINE

Isnt there a mod on here you can CRY TO...

Go on SLICK...cry to a mod....cause no-one else wants to hear it!!!
