08 m1000 or 08 m8

The M1000 in our group is bone stock and it's simply shocking how well it works. The guy had an M8 from the same dealer just b4 he got the M1000 and he said there is simply NO comparison.

Only thing he MIGHT do is get a can to take a little weight off the front, but I'll tell you first hand that with the power it has, you don't feel it at all.... till you get it stuck anyway;)

ya well go with the polaris because the 800 is the most powerful 800 out there and if you want to be along side the road when ridin articat just give me a call when u come to cook city cuz ill pull u out with my real mans sled!!!!(polaris):beer;:beer;:beer;:beer;:cool:cool::cool::cool::cool:

All 3 are good. I would go wit the m1000 over the 8. But i would go with the 09 dragon first off.

Just read the new snowest addition and choose for your self.

If you get a sled from a good dealer thats closest to you you will probably be happy as long as its not the new skidoo smurf sled.

sorry but i look at dyno numbers not in magazines. like a few days ago when they did a whole bunch of pulls and couldnt get the hp polaris says it gets.

Dynotech , released new up date's to there recent D-8 results, they called a poo tech in, and guess what the d-8 dosen't like **** gas like 87octane.

They put down the #'s and even more with a pipe 163 not bad no porting or no twins even.

The #'s were making all D-8 guys a little worried as well.

Don't believe me check it out...

Can't decide what to buy guys. Let me know your oprinions.

I just had to make the same decision, so I figured I would tell you what made me choose what I did. So I was looking at brand new leftover M's (was going to buy a brand new Polaris but came to my senses and got my deposit back). I was looking at 08 M8 and M1000 153 sno pros and an 07 M1000 153. The 08 1000 was $4000 off the list price, and was only $400 more than the cheapest M8 I could find (and actually as much as $100 less). I figured with the updates on the 08 over the 07, plus the weight savings, I would rather go with the 08. Then I was looking at the price difference between the M8 and the M1000 (both 2008 153 sno pro's) and figured that for $400, I couldn't buy 30hp if I wanted to get the increase after I bought the sled, but could always drop some weight off the 1000.

I also rode my dad's 07 M1000 (on the grass as there is no snow), and I was sold as to what I wanted to buy. I go to pick up my 08 M1000 Sno Pro on Saturday.
