cruel and unusual.......the way I see it, if you do unto someone the way they did unto another.....it can't be unusual, it is common.

I am in the express lane control group. I lack all sympathy for criminals. I firmly believe that we would have a lot less death row inmates i the punishments for other crimes were greater.

how many folks have spit their gum out the window? would you still do it if you knew your lips could be cut off for it? prolly not.

additionally we need less suing and more knuckle justice in this country.

just meant as a simple analogy. if you knew touching your nose was wrong and punishable by death, you would not do it. there are a lot of crimes that take place because the punishment is so lax. I did not mean to infer that spitting your gum out should be a crime or recieve a punishment....just an analogy.
I would be ok asking for forgiveness after avenging the person responsible for harming my family.

I myself think we should put guys like duncan in a 55 gallon drum and feed them through the hole till they drown in their own........well you get my drift.

Correct, they can't breed.
They also have nothing to lose. So they make prison more dangerous for everyone. They also interact with prisoners that will be getting out. They can and do make those criminals more dangerous.

Also, what is the point of keeping them alive?
Would you house a rabid dog?
What is the point of paying to house someone for 30 - 40 - 50 years? They don't contribute to anything or anyone. All they do is cost a chit load of cash to keep alive.
They are a waist of air.

Also, NOTHING is 100%.
So you might as well be saying you will never be for the death penalty for ANY reason.

Personally, I'm more worried about taking care of our soldiers, that are dieing to protect our country, than some criminal that hurt someone. There will be mistakes, but the cops need to be held accountable for their actions too. Their not above the law.

Politicians should be charged with treason, if they don't act in the interest of the US, and their constitutes. Business people should be charged with the damage they do to people's lives. They make plenty of money, they should be the captain of their ship, and take responsibility for their actions.

yes i'm all for the death penalty. if done right it acts more as a deterrent for haneous crimes than a way to clean up death row...once everyone sees that america has grown the brass clackers that it once had, they will be a little more hesitant in comitting these vicious acts of violence with little or no remorse...those who truly believe they have nothing to live for will be ultimately cured....quickly and very cost effective

I think we should do away with all prisons and make them do work camps and the like. We don't need cheap labor when we have a source to get it for free.. You should have two options, work enough to pay for what it costs to keep you in jail or die... I don't know why people care so much about people who don't want to play by societies rules...
