XP Tool kit location.

Yup, other side for me. It will get really dirty where you currently have it and if it ever let loose, having a bunch of heavy metal objects attacking your primary would not be good:face-icon-small-sho

Leave it were it was.

Just take the plastic container off the belt cover, take it over to the table saw, and cut away everything you don't absolutely need. You should have a cup, with a rubber bungee left, when your done. Make sure to leave a couple mounting pegs, to clip it back on. Works great, and doesn't slow air flow much.

Above the right foot rest, better than coming loose and jumping into clutch. Don't cut foam out of seat as they do pack down later.

Use a cut off wheel and trim it down to just the box that the pouch fits in and mount it above the right hand foot rest. That is if you don't have a battery. Either bolt it or rivet it. I will post some pics later but this is what I have been doing to all of the sleds that go through my shop. ( again if they don't have a battery) Otherwise put it under the seat. It will defenatly let more air move through the engine bay with it removed from the clutch cover.

that's where I put mine, on the exhaust side in the same spot.

X2...the exhaust side. I believe it is where the battery would go on an electric start model. I used 3 zipties to hold it in place. I can slide it out if I need it. Been there for 1100 miles...no problems!

I went under the seat also. You only need to cut out about 3/8" of the foam. Then unroll the pouch and fold it over and flatten it out more (may need to rearrange the tools). Cut one of the little side ttabs off and slide it in under the white cross bar. Fits nice and I can't feel it through the seat foam. Unsnap the black tool holder and put on the shelf.

I had mine under the seat, but when I would put a knee down sometimes it would dig in. So I just moved it to the right footrest as shown in a previous post. Just used some velcro tape, works great.
