I changed a bunch of things around and it is way better. Maybe not dragon agile but much better. Power is really good. A little finicky with alt. hit rev. limiter down low and not enough rpms at alt. but easy to change with clickers and shockwave. Overall good set up. But would be more comfortable on a new dragon 860. Oh well.

What did you end up changing that helped your handling issues?

Good topic, I don't mean to hijack but I have some questions too. No brand bias BS please, looking for honest opinions.

So once a person gets the XP setup well and learns how to ride it, does it sidehill and handle as well in the setup snow as a Dragon does? I am about 170 pounds and this is one of the things that concerns me with the XP, if it wears me out riding it I'm not gonna be happy. I don't have the chance to ride bottomless pow all year like some of you guys, sometimes there's only 1 or 2 ft. of fresh where I'm riding so the handling characteristics in less than stellar conditions are important to me. I've already seen what effect tilting the risers back can have on a sled(it's huge). I don't mind having to "re-learn" how to ride if I buy an XP but I don't wanna fight the thing everytime I cut across a slope.

The XP works best in the powder, I prefer the older Rev chassis in Spring type snow, but sold my Rev last Summer. Will now have to learn to ride my XP on the hard stuff. I don't think anything compairs to an XP in the bottemless stuff ...just effortless ...with a great big smile!:D

i totally agree with Chubbydog. thats the way both of our XP's are setup and work great. Set them where it works best for you....we are all different...try different settings.

I took off my sway bar and increased press on front springs to 4. Blocked holes with alum. tape. Moved my bars back couple inches. Cut 3/4 inch off the outside of my skis (enough to keep the outside plastic runner on) I like it on and off the trails. Got to admit the dragon did feel nimbler, but no comparison on trails or up the slopes.
