Big John don't mean to hijack your thread but what happened to your 880 kit, PM me if you don't want to clog this thread up.

It was good/bad...isnt worth the extra $$ and using wisecos VS the cast piston 860R-BJ

Just installed my billet adjuster. Makes you laugh at Ski-Doo's version once you see this quality part. Fast shipping, good install instructions, perfect fit, great look...what ever could I ask for. :D:beer;

TTT for you Big John.

Just got done installing the brace kit (15-20min max with basic hand tools) and it should work very well. You can see how easy the support member moves my adjusting the rod on the brake kit. Should hold the secondary in place very nicely. Also installed a new trick billet belt asdjuster in the secondary and threw away the POS stick adjuster. Will post some pics later today or tomorow.

I have one too and ran it most of last season. My recommendation is to cut out 2 - 3" circles (or any shape) out of tin (aluminum) and glue them to the inside of the clutch side cover. Glue one next to the primary and one next to the secondary. This stops holes from being cut into the side panel when you roll it on it's side and the clutches are spinning.

Both of mine are gouged but the plastic side cover remains in good shape.

The aluminum adjuster works great but is heavier and sticks out farther.

The other thing to do is take 16 inches of stainless steel rod (I forget diameter but same as those 2 holes in the adjuster, I think it was one size over 1/8", mayby 3/16"?) Anyway fold it in half and bend the 2 ends in the same direction about 1" from the ends. Now you have a great tool to turn the adjuster. This would work on the factory adjuster too and still fits in my tool kit.:beer;
