A few years ago while living in the dorms in Laramie there was a black guy on my floor. He came in with a sore throat and asked if I had any cough drops, I told him there were two packs of them on top of my TV and he could take one. He grabs one, pops one in his mouth and says, "Man, these things are gooooooooooooood!"
I ask him, "Did you grab the watermellon ones?" I was being serious too...
He says "Aww man, c'mon! I didn't expect something like that from you."
I tell him I'm not trying to be racist and to look at the pack in his hand and see if it is the watermellon one because there really was a watermellon flavored pack on there right next to the citrus flavored ones. Turns out they really were the watermellon ones.

OMG, I just pissed my pants when I saw that picture. On a serious note, if a white boy walked down the streets of Harlem or somehwhere, and said waz up Ni****r, he'd be in for a azz beatin within a few seconds. It another black guy says the same thing it's just sayin hi! I just think if a black guy was walking down the streets of UT, and said what's up cracker boy, he wouldn't be lynched. There are plenty of white college funds.
The point of the United Negro College Fund, is because for a long time there was a huge disportionate amount of blacks attending College. The primary rason they were not able to attend was money. It is so the cycle does not repeat itself.
Because we generally don't care and aren't looking for a free ride. Most of the people that get offended by those items are looking for a free ticket/ride because they can. Any upstanding person has enough of self esteem or pride that simple things like that wouldn't make a difference. It's the POS's of society that are the problem when it comes to that.
If they would simply just move on and get over it people would pretty much quit thinking about it and making mountains out of nothing basically.
