So I went riding today up Lake Creek and there where tracks everywhere! Nearly every hillside was almost packed. The meadows where well tracked.
I still had a incredible powder day.
I hit up the trees and no one had touched the snow. It was awesome! There are few things I enjoy more than climbing through the trees. Just picking a line as you climb. Having to stay on the throttle, but just make that turn right between those two big pines and bouncing off pillows. It was sick.
My question is why do more people not ride in the trees? I'm not complaining cause it always gives me good snow to play in, but seriously climbing those big wide open hillsides is boring and really quite easy.
climbing in the trees is simply bliss.
Sorry, I have not pictures. I am probably the worst when it comes to remembering to bring a camera let alone pull one out while I am having such a blast riding.
So what are your thoughts on the matter?
