Who needs horsepower to climb?

Its getting deep in here...sounds like we need to have a tight tree shoot out, stock VS mod next winter. Time it takes you to get to the top doesn't count but the way you get there is what is important.

What is with the hate on this thread??? There was a day my heavily modified ultra would walk on the competion. Yes, an ULTRA??? Times change. Then the inevitable happened and I needed to to use my emergency back up sled...a 1995 XLT...stock...OH NO!!! One of the best rides I have had. No worries about mechanical failure. No worries of getting beat...I was expected to lose...and I did...But I managed to see the same country as my riding buddies, who were quite happy for me for managing so much with so little.

Point is...go ahead and play the I got the baddest sled on the mountain game. Fact is there will always be some dentist with $20,000 more disposable income than you to come up with some way to put a turbo on some 1200 cc machine and wedge it into some carbon fibre chassis.

I say just ride. And when some one shows up with a cool machine admire the workmanship. When someone clearly outrides is own equipment, admire the mastry of his sport.

First off, you can't brag about being a baller when your stay at home wife gives you a weekly allowance. (His wife gave him $100 limit for memorial weekend in the dunes)

Second, you are only wanting HP to make up for your lack of skill. I watched Tim and Aaron out climb you in every scenario on naturally aspirated motors.

Oh dear lord, you asked for it....

Tim and Aaron are very very talented riders who could be in most of the bonelicker films we watch every year, and no, they cant outclimb me in the open....yes, they can both school me and almost everyone in the state with that sick tree bashing they do....sorry to cloud this thread with facts:lips:

On the topic of facts, Indyman96 drive a POS ford ranger and gets laughed at by most high school kids who drive big boy trucks, and this kid is homeless:eek:, change your sig line already son.....livin a lie:rolleyes:

It must be slow all over the forum, we have 2 Washington guys chiming in over here now...What have I done???

Way to go Chad, but look at the bright side. Only 6 months of Smack Talkin till the snow flys. We're all Bad Azz once the snow melts. hahahaha LMFAO;):beer;

Hey Jacob. Here's a good shot of Sir Tim.

Hatch you're my Bro but......
You talk out of both sides of your mouth.....:p

I heard a million times, "this stuff at lake and secret stash suck cause its to tight. We need to go ride Frankiln it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better."

So which is it??:p

I cant say lake and secret stash suck (but it does suck to ride every single dingle weekend), and im talking bout atleast 4 feet inbetween trees....now tell me another story about how your stock XP is the best sled ever and somehow beat Tims mod, i hade a XP last year, now im on a M, why is that not ok with you:rolleyes:...yawn!

you backside pounders ride the same place every weekend...thats cool with me, dont hate cuz i wont pack your gas or take a nap while you dorks make a camp fire and stare at each other for 7 hours:face-icon-small-coo

that sled has an M6 sticker, thats the only thing M6 about it

Fun Facts:
1- if i only had an XP, id rather stay home and knit a sweater of something
2- if i had indyman96s life, id kill myself
3- if i only had a minitruck, id rather take a skate to work
