Who has the best aftermarket bars?

This is a bit of a multi faceted question..

The "fat" or taper bars are all made of aluminum and suck the heat out of the standard heaters EXCEPT for the Fly carbon wrapped bars. If you use the grips with built in heaters, they do very well even with aluminum bars... some people say to spray foam in them and grip heaters will work much better...

i have the protaper bars on my rmk, i noticed that soon after i put them on that the suck the heat away, so what i tried and seemed to work really well was took electrical tape turned it sticky side out and wrapped the grip/handwarmer area, then stuck the warmer to it then wrapped that in electrical tape sticky side down and then put the grips on, i was surprised as how much hotter they are now.

I have Fabcraft on my M6... 4" model. Love 'em. Bought them used last year here on SnoWest. Ran 'em on my Doo 670 last year, and am glad I saved 'em when I sold that sled.

Yes looks are familiar Tapered handlebars (just like Renthal, Pro Taper, 909, Trail Tech, Turner, Oneal, Tag, Universal etc all look the same) but our product has different specifications and Performance. We hired the guy that designed and created all of that other brands stuff to make our products the best.

Big Red.... Let us know if you want the best and we can get it handled for you.;)

No, Wade has not done all of those brands. Just making a point that all Tapered hadnelabrs LOOK FAMILIAR!:)

RSI,

I didn't realize Wade had done all of those brands...........

He didn't.
He worked for Fly for several years and now at RSI.
He does know his stuff really well. I just can't / won't throw stones there.

That being said though,
I like the Tag bars.
The thicker wall aluminum makes them stronger and when riding in the mountains, we've all rolled our sleds more than twice.

I like the Tag X-5s the best personally.
7/8" diameter aluminum fits up nicely into your stock bar clamps and risers.
They have a 5mm thick wall aluminum at the mounting area and through the bends, then taper out to 4mm thick at the ends to accept the bar ends / hooks for the aluminum and alloy bars.
Then the bolt on cross brace (included) makes them even stronger and resist flex just that much more.
The other guys, at least the majority of them, run a 4mm thick wall through out on their aluminum bars with no cross brace.

When going taller, don't forget the longer throttle cable and brake line.
I like the Fly mountain bar on this set up I've got pictured here.

Wade did design all of the FLY snowmobile handlebar systems when he worked at FLY. FLY did not ask him to develop this product line he did it on his own and let FLY use his designs.

RSI

That is true.

Like I said above,
He's done a great job and I'd never bash his work there or at RSI.

I just have a different prefference.

On that same note, his designs, I like his risers that work on both the 1 1/8" as well as the 7/8" quite a lot.
They are a nice design and they take the risers in a direction that they haven't been before.
