Who has lost a D8 motor with a PCV? DNT or SLP MAP?

I know that more (than 4 or 5)have went down with a PCV on them, but it does seem like a band aid fix. It's to bad we are talking about something that needs surgery to get right. I kinda wonder on some of these repeat failures if the shops replace just the do topend or if they clean and inspect the bottoms as well. Also if you lose the mag side can debris get into the PTO side? or are they sealed from each other?

i got 120 miles on a 09 crate motor it blew up thats number 3 dealer pulled it apart an cirk clips were out on both wrist pins made a real mess dude at the factory musta for got to push them in the grove properly oh an polaris said thanks for comein out can t help you im f@$& pissed
 
Just got my sled Back

Just got my sled back. new pistons and jugs. Dealer knows i run aftermarket exhaust. He stated that the motor looked the same as it did the last build. He said polaris would likely not cover the fix the next time. I dont know what this is all about but it still has warranty until Nov. SO just because I have aftermarket exhaust they arnt going to cover it. WEIRD!!!! Will say though I rode the sled for 80 miles on stock set up except clutching and it ripped with the new flash maybe they got their stuff together, but I still put the pipe and pcv on when I got home:)
