Who better than Chris Burandt?

Not taking anything away from Chris. My friends that have road with him say that he pulls sh!t that isn't even right. Hat's off to him. But... Have you guys ever road with Geoff Kyle, Rob Alford, Dan Treadway, Dan Adams? The list goes on. Don't throw all your eggs into one basket. Remember the saying "Any given Sunday"?

My cheeks puckered a little just watching that. :face-icon-small-hap That looked steep even on video, I couldn't image how steep it really was! I saw another video with one of the Micku Bros on it, and WOW those dudes climb some crazy stuff.

i ride with them quite often and its a joy just watching them. by no means im a bad rider but i still like to watch them ride to.

You're right. Alot of good riders are out there without any notice. They are there if you look hard enough. They are in all shapes, sizes and even ages so don't underestimate or "judge a book by its cover".

Imo all those riders have different styles then Chris.

I want to ride with chris someday, he is the best backcountry rider imo. I want to successfully hang with him in the trees just ONCE!

As far as actually being the best, thats one of the great things about snowmobilin, we will never know, and we can all push to get near the top. Finding "the best" backcountry rider would be imposible simply because there are WAY to may varibles. The snow could be more set up in one spot, or steeper in another. If playing a fallow the leader type game the guys behind the leader has to deal will other tracks and trenches... I just wanna RIDE in some deep snow again...

Chris is the best at what he does, back country riding.

Jay when you coming to McCall, I'm ready to kick some ski-doo arse!!! :face-icon-small-hap

I personally think that Rasmussen, burandt, and adams are the best Backcountry riders out there. But that is what they choose to do. If they wanted to race the circuit and ride at yamafest, they would and i gaurantee they would accel there too. IMO

Look at the 2:04 mark on this vid......then look at :53 in this one.....hmmmmhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2fOcA-TuaRU

I noticed that too but it doesn't make it any less impressive to me. I can tell you how the vid would look the first time, second time and tenth time I tried it. I would be stuck down by a tree every time.

In a way the fact that he can do it with ease more than once is more impressive to me. Wasn't just a lucky shot the first time, he can do it over and over
