Who better than Chris Burandt?

I would say Burandt is one of the best ALL AROUND riders today

dude can boondock (any film he's in), climb (slednecks 10 M1000T climb in whistler), freestyle jump (Xgames gold medalist), long jump (xgames silver in 2010), 2 time Red Bull Fuel & Fury winner (05 & 06)......who else has a resume like this???

dude to watch out for....Geoff Kyle
each season this dude gets better and better

I rode with Geoff in Sicamous. He crushes it!

I didn't even know Burandt was in the video!?!? I guess I'm not use to seeing him on a Poo. I agree, I only think it has a couple shots of Burandt (he was the only one on a all black sled, the rest were red). Those 208 guys can really ride and do a great job filming back country riding.

I will tell you theres only 2 shots of Burandt in that video. The wrest on the dragon are the producer of 208 Phil. Both incredible riders.

I have ridden with Phil and he is a unreal rider and a great guy. He just needs to be 21 and be there for the party. lol

don't go telling people how sick he is for being so young....you better watch out or he's gonna take you down as the best!

Anyone remember Jay Quinlan?

That guy had some cahoonies and was always in a league of his own. Id put him in the same category as burandt as one of the best all around riders, except for hill climbs, but who couldn't climb up a mountain with 250+ hp at their fingertips?

Never rode with Chris but you can tell he has sick backcountry skills! I have ridden with Carl Kuster, Geoff Kyle, Corey Micku, Dave Craig and Treadway and these five could hang with anyone, I would put money on it! Cheers, Rene.

Someones mentioned Rasmussen. Pretty impressive, that dude can sidehill. I was hoping for some video, so I guess I'm the only can post anything except talk....blah, blah, blah!

That is some sick footage, but there is some truns in that clip that you would not do on a stock sled. Very top notch riders but the HP helps make some thimgs in that possible.

For the big turbo shute pullen guys they are great riders, but there is a big diff. between the Krazy candian sick pulls and the Burandt backcountry tech. riding.

Saw some video of Rene the other day....WOW! Makes that so called "point and shoot" TNytro do amazing things.

The first time I saw Rasmussen was on the Arctic Cat promotional DVD. He was doing those crazy turns and sidehills on a 100% stock machine.

With snow that deep and pulling out of the turns and climbing out on hills that steep? Would love to see that vid, do you have a link?

I have been riding in the mountains since 89 and watched the videos since they started. There is a ton of great no names and big names ... I have yet to see anyone that can out ride Burandt in the trees.

If you put everyone in the group on stock sleds, he is still going to make everyone look silly.

For sure those two are the best, all I am saying is the snow in this clip is not the same as the first one where they are on boosted sleds. 3 foot of new fresh powder you can not pull the same moves in that much new snow with a stock sled, take some of the snow away and change the temp. Then those same moves are doable. But for sure I wish to take nothing away from two of the best in the sport!!!! They are unmached in my book as well, and love to see there footage!

sooo..no footage from this season on the new sleds yet? curious to see how well he has adapted.....

Check out some of Justin Cowett's videos on youtube-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MzVgumVVYEc

I've rode with a lot of these guys and I don't think I know anyone that could hang with Justin in the trees. To be fair though, he heads into the trees sometime in December and over the next six months he only emerges periodically to get fuel or new parts, so he probably has more saddle time than anyone else. Look for some ridiculous tree lines in Boondockers 7...
