I'm 19 now but have been riding for quite a few years. I started out on a 600 rev summit and now am on an 08 summit xp 154 which is amazing and my dad rides the 600. I partly paid for mine, being in 3 sports in high school there was no way I could afford a new sled so ya my parents have helped me out and I am thankful for that. I think that my father sees more enjoyment in me having fun out in the mountains having a great time with my friends than I do. He is not in the best shape but he will come along and take pictures and video of me and my friends and wouldn't have it any other way. Snowmobiling has brought me and my father together in many ways and I hope it is something that every father/son can enjoy.

I just turned 20. Does that count as a kid still, i feel like one lol.. Started out on a 340 in 2000 at age ten and now im runnin an 08 M1000 turbo..

This thread is awesome....I have ridden A LOT of different sleds but my first was a 1969 skidoo 340- to a 93 Indy Trail 500 (fan cooled 488) to a ZR sno pro 440 to a 02 RMK 700 144 to a my latest baby....07 700 Dragon RMK. I agree with most as well...I think it's great what parents are doing getting they kids into the sport....and hope I have the chance to do the same some day!!!!!

13 years old, Riding a 08 XP 154 800R. Only 1 belt in 600 miles. Welded Driveshaft. Sickest stock sled ever created. LOL.

You must be a rich prick and I bet your daddy bought those sleds for you. Either that or your full of sh*t. And do you honestly think you'll be able to handle a 09 m8T? Seriously?

Nice 2nd post looser.
Think whatever you want. Im not going to get into this on this thread, as it is to great for the likes of you.

you have a PM.

Mountain Mod SnoScoot

I am building a mod sled for my kid with a 427 cc banshee motor and a snowhawk 121 track. 100 horsepower and 250 pounds dry. Bullhead moto has some great ideas. Looking for ideas, any suggestions? I want to get this thing done.

MTdream looks like the kids are having a ball. Good to see them helping each other out.
triplemax that looks like it is going to be a serious ride how old is your young one?

triplemax, me likes!! nice idea. never thought of a banshee motor. pretty big for my boys but a 250 would do them good. maybe i will try that next, starting from scratch.
kewl!

I started my 9 yr old out on my old 87 indy400 136x1.50 then got her a 96 xcr 440 with a 2 inch 136,then she road my 07 600 155x2.50 so I had to go get another sled, she rides it like a champ she turns 15 on the 21st,I love watching her ride and having fun,she too is a 3 sport kid so as long as she keeps her grades up I will keep the sled modded up for her.
