i started at 5 on a kitty kat :D then moved to a 95' formula s 380F X-rental sled when i was 7 and it was all downhill from there!

personally i would buy a sno scoot or sport they do pretty well and ive even seen some of them pretty tricked out they look sweet

sno scoot 125 is the route to go, thing is indestructable, but its way bigger than a kitty kat. im 6'0 and 205 lbs, and i can lean back and catwalk a wheelie for ever.

Kid longtrack sled

1989 Polaris 500 RMK. My son's sled from age 12 to 20. Put a 99 rear skid w/136 x 2 track. He would go everwhere I went.

Wife hates it!!!

Starting last season my son started riding 2001 Summit 800 151", he's careful and rides good but my wife says too big too powerful. I agree but he is very careful and I'm always with him on my 2007 Summit X 800 151". No pics right now.

Kids LOOOOONG Gone but

1988 I had three sled'n boys..........a son and two nephews.

So ......long tracked two et250 yamaha's............ you had to pull the motor and machine the stock primary clutch off the crank and taper and tap the crank for a normal clutch ( I used phazer clutch's ) , jerk auto oil, can the stock carb, install a 32mm mikuni, used 121 phazer single ply tracks with about 50 plastic trail cleats..........before big tracks. Basiclly a large motorized skate board. Fact at the time in deep powder they would outclimb any of the big IRON we owned. Slow but getting there. And we did an ET340 for oldest nephew.

Remaining at my cabin is best worst example, ported and piped and rolled thirty times, hood is all fiberglass repairs and aftermarket stickers, got the name the "250 ROAD WARRIOR ". Been through the park several times dodge'en the feds as the track cleats and no flap huck's snow 30' in the air at modest speeds. Its hauled out a good number of elk. Still fires 1st pull with good premix. One nephew still here riding some some of my handbuilt iron. Other two thousands of miles away. Enjoy those kids while you hav'em, two many sled trips later without them.

my 11 yo has a 96 tran-sport,440 fanner,141 w 1.25 paddles.my buddy rick trimmed and recovered the 2up seat.took off a lot of steel on the back.3 of these sleds, the kids love em

couple more pics of my sons long track conversion. almost done. just need to make a new chain tensioner, and get a better exhaust but this one will do for now.

I think you need more ***snow***

Looked like he's having a blast.:D How old is he? Pretty sweet set up for a little sled tike.

yea i turned 16 this september and am moving up from a 600 136 rev to an 800 154 XP ... and im hoping my first ride on its gonna be in about 2 weeks ... school suxs it always gets in the way of sleding

At 6 I was on a Bravo 250, 12 on a MM700, 16 on a 700 Summit, 17, today, on a REV 800 162.

Phazer IIs are money sleds, I'm likin' those mods. Props to the kid tearin' it up on the 670.

tis to be expected whe someone claiming to be 13 or 14 claims to be riding a 09 M8T, so that sled will run close to 15grand if its what he says it is, first of all you cant even legally work, and you would still have to be working tons to afford such a toy, i dont care if your parents buy you stuff more power to ya, i got plently of free stuff from mine, but dont brag about it.

i know these type, i live around em, such is being in a resort town. i know more than one kid that has wrecked there car and the next day is driving there new 20k car that was given to them, and they are bragging about it. end game.

Lots of farm kids are partial owners and or get share of monies...and can earn real money...it is not unheard of...but yes families in the 'Fish tend to have LOADS of cash!!!
